Winston Venable
Winston Venable (born March 31, 1987) is an American football coach and former linebacker who is currently the running backs coach and player development director at Boise State University. He spent the majority of his professional career with the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He also spent time in the NFL with the Chicago Bears. He played college football for Boise State University. He is the son of former Major League Baseball (MLB) player Max Venable as well as the younger brother of former MLB player Will Venable. Early years Venable attended San Rafael High School before transferring to St. Thomas More School in Oakdale, CT. He then went on to Glendale Community College before transferring to Boise State in the spring of 2009. Linebacker
Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and the defensive linemen. They are the "middle ground" of defenders, playing closer to the line of scrimmage than the defensive backs (secondary), but farther back than the defensive linemen. As such, linebackers play a hybrid role and are often the most versatile players on the defensive side of the ball; they can be asked to play roles similar to either a defensive lineman (such as stopping the runner on a running play) or a defensive back (such as dropping back into pass coverage). Max Venable
William McKinley "Max" Venable (born June 6, 1957) is an American former professional baseball outfielder and designated hitter. He played 12 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the San Francisco Giants, Montreal Expos, Cincinnati Reds, and California Angels. Venable also played for the Chiba Lotte Marines of Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB), and coached for the SK Wyverns of the KBO League. Early years Venable went to Cordova High School in Rancho Cordova, California, where he was a multi-sport star. He excelled in all sports but, in high school, football was his best. He turned down football scholarships to sign with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Lance Briggs
Lance Marell Briggs (born November 12, 1980) is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Arizona Wildcats and was selected by the Chicago Bears in the third round of the 2003 NFL Draft, where he played his entire 12-year career. The 2012 NFL draft was the 77th annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible American football players for their rosters. Brandon Hardin
Brandon Hardin (born October 30, 1989) is a former American football safety who played in the National Football League (NFL) for two seasons. Hardin was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He played college at Oregon State. College career In his college career, he registered 105 tackles, one interception, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery in 38 games. Demetrius Williams
Demetrius Terrell Williams (born March 28, 1983) is a former American football wide receiver. He was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the fourth round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He played college football at Oregon. Early years Williams was a SuperPrep All-American and was also a unanimous ''Long Beach Press-Telegram'' Best in the West selection. He accumulated 34 catches for 829 yards and 15 touchdowns in his senior year, in addition to returning one punt into the end zone. Andrew Gregory Dalton (born October 29, 1987) is an American football quarterback for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League (NFL). The 2010 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl game was a post-season college football bowl game between the #4 TCU Horned Frogs, champions of the Mountain West Conference, and the #6 Boise State Broncos, champions of the Western Athletic Conference. The Boise State Broncos are the intercollegiate athletic teams that represent Boise State University, located in Boise, Idaho. The Broncos compete at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I level as a member of the Mountain West Conference (MW).
