Winston Glacier
Winston Glacier () is a glacier flowing to Winston Lagoon on the southeast side of Heard Island in the southern Indian Ocean. Its terminus is at Winston Lagoon, between Cape Lockyer and Oatt Rocks. To the northeast of Winston Glacier is Stephenson Glacier, the terminus of which is located between Dovers Moraine and Stephenson Lagoon. To the southwest of Winston Glacier is Fiftyone Glacier, whose terminus is located between Lavett Bluff and Lambeth Bluff. Discovery and naming Winston Glacier was surveyed by through the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions in 1948. It was named by Antarctic Names Committee of Australia in 1964 in association with nearby Winston Lagoon. Winston Theatre
The Winston Theatre is a traditional proscenium arch theatre located in the Bristol Students' Union building, one of the largest students' union buildings in Great Britain. The theatre seats 204, with 5 additional seats for the Front of House staff and 2 spaces for wheelchairs. The Theatre boasts an ample orchestra pit, fly galleries with winchable lighting bars and versatile hemp bars, a large control room, an FOH sound location, two large dressing rooms, and a sliding scenery dock door at the rear of the stage (currently disused). The theatre is well equipped for a student theatre. Winston Tower
The Winston Tower (formerly Wachovia Building) is a 410 ft (125 m) tall skyscraper in Winston-Salem, Forsyth County, North Carolina, completed in 1966 with 29 floors. It was the tallest building in North Carolina, succeeding the Reynolds Building in Winston-Salem, until it was passed by Charlotte's Jefferson First Union Tower in 1971. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001. After a 2003 renovation in which all 6,033 windows were replaced with tinted glass to save energy, the building received its current name. It has 436,000 square feet (40,500 square meters) of office space. As of 2009, Winston Tower is the second tallest office building in the city, behind 100 North Main Street; both have previously served as the corporate headquarters for Wachovia Bank. Winston Tunnel
The Winston Tunnel is a railroad tunnel located 9 miles (14.5 kilometers) west of Elizabeth, Illinois. The tunnel was completed in 1888 for the Minnesota and Northwestern Railroad, a predecessor to the Chicago Great Western Railway (CGW). The tunnel was located on the CGW main line 152 miles (245 kilometers) west of Chicago in the isolated and hilly Driftless Area of extreme north-western Illinois. In 1972, four years after the Chicago Great Western was merged into the Chicago and North Western Railway (C&NW), the CGW's largely redundant trackage in the area, including the Winston Tunnel, was abandoned. It was the third longest railroad tunnel in Illinois at 2,493 feet (760 m). ''Winston Science Fiction'' was a series of 37 American juvenile science fiction books published by the John C. Winston Company of Philadelphia from 1952 to 1960 and by its successor Holt, Rinehart & Winston in 1960 and 1961. It included 35 novels by various writers, including many who became famous in the SF field, such as Poul Anderson, Arthur C. Clarke, Ben Bova, and Lester del Rey. There was also one anthology, ''The Year After Tomorrow'', edited by del Rey and others.
