Winnipeg Rangers (1939–1957)
The Winnipeg Rangers, later known as the Black Hawks and Barons, were a Canadian junior hockey team in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League. They were two-time Memorial Cup and Turnbull Cup champions (1941 and 1943). The 1941 Winnipeg Rangers Hockey Club defeated the Saskatoon Quakers to win the Abbott Cup and earned the right to represent the west in the Memorial Cup. They went on to defeat the Montreal Royals 7-4 in the fifth and deciding game to capture the national title.
