Ivan Wingreen
Ivan Michael Wingreen (23 June 1961 – 11 May 2014) was a South African cricketer. Born in Cape Town, Cape Province he played first-class cricket for Western Province in a career that lasted from 1983 to 1987. Wingreen played 22 first-class matches for Western Province B. His highest score was 103 against Eastern Province B in 1985–86. He also played three List A cricket matches in 1984–85, two for Western Province, one for Western Province B. Jason Wingreen
Jason Wingreen (October 9, 1920 – December 25, 2015) was an American actor. He portrayed bartender Harry Snowden on the CBS sitcom ''All in the Family'' (1977–1979), a role he reprised on the continuation series ''Archie Bunker's Place'' (1979–1983). He was also the original voice of ''Star Wars'' character Boba Fett in ''The Empire Strikes Back'' (1980). Early years Born in 1920 in Brooklyn, New York to a Jewish family, he grew up in Howard Beach, Queens, attended John Adams High School, and graduated from Brooklyn College in 1941. While at Brooklyn College, he participated in the Varsity Dramatic Society. Wingreen originally planned to become a newspaper reporter after writing about high school sports for the ''Brooklyn Eagle'' during his high school years. Ned Wingreen
Ned S. Wingreen is a theoretical physicist and the Howard A. Prior Professor of the Life Sciences at Princeton University. He is a member of the Department of Molecular Biology and of the Lewis-Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics, where he is currently director of graduate studies. He is the associate director of the Princeton Center for Theoretical Science, and is also associated faculty in the department of physics. Working with Yigal Meir, Wingreen formulated the Meir-Wingreen Formula which describes the electric current through an arbitrary mesoscopic system. Education and career Wingreen received a B.S. in physics from California Institute of Technology in 1984. Wingreen then received his Ph.D. in theoretical condensed matter physics from Cornell University in 1989 as a Hertz Fellow.
