Wind Of Freedom
''Wind of Freedom'' (russian: Вольный ветер) is a 1961 Soviet comedy film directed by Leonid Trauberg and Andrey Tutyshkin. Plot The film takes place in a small port city in the South. The fascists left this place, as a result of which there was no one on the port quay. The port owner, George Stan, who collaborated with the Nazis, also left the city, but returned when he received the support of the authorities, and work began again in the port. Sailor Yango and his beloved girl named Stella are getting ready to start a family, and Georg in this time asks the girl's hands and hearts and with the help of deception he seeks a positive response. Leonid Trauberg
Leonid Zakharovich Trauberg (russian: Леонид Захарович Трауберг, 17 January 1902 – 14 November 1990) was a Ukrainian Soviet film director and screenwriter. He directed 17 films between 1924 and 1961 and was awarded the Stalin Prize in 1941. Trauberg was Jewish, and was fiercely attacked by Soviet authorities during the so-called "anti-cosmopolitan" period following World War II. Lionella Pyryeva (15 March 1938 in Odesa, Ukraine; birth name Skirda and present name Strizhenova) is a retired Soviet actress. She is known for her roles in The Brothers Karamazov (1969), in the role of Grushenka, Wind of Freedom (1961) and The Light of a Distant Star (1964). In 1991, she was awarded the Honored Artist of the RSFSR award. She initially married the famous Soviet film director and screenwriter Ivan Pyryev. He was more than 36 years her senior. Nadezhda Vasilyevna Rumyantseva (russian: Надежда Васильевна Румянцева, 9 September 1930, Potapovo, Smolensk Oblast — 8 April 2008, Moscow) was a popular Soviet and Russian actress. People’s Artist of the RSFSR (1991). Biography Early years Nadezhda Rumyantseva was born in the Potapovo village (now Gagarinsky District) into a simple Russian family. Nikolai Olimpievich Gritsenko (russian: Николай Олимпиевич Гриценко, uk, Микола Олімпійович Гриценко; 24 July 1912 – 8 December 1979) was a Soviet and Russian theater and film actor. Mikhail Mikhailovich Yanshin (russian: Михаи́л Миха́йлович Я́ншин) (20 October 1902 – 17 July 1976) was a Soviet Union, Soviet stage and film actor. Biography Yanshin was born in the city of Yukhnov, located in the present-day Kaluga Oblast. As a young man he worked as a carpenter. In 1919 he volunteered for the Red Army.
