William Winckler
William Winckler (born October 3, 1964 in California) is an American actor and independent filmmaker best known for writing, producing and directing cult movies, horror films and English dubbed animation. He is the son of child actor Robert Winckler (often credited as Robert Winkler). Ida Winckler
Ida Anna Winkler (1907–1995) was a Danish painter and textile artist. In 1930, she joined the newly established ''Haandarbejdets Fremme'' (Danish Handcraft Guild), where over the next 65 years she created hundreds of mainly cross-stitch patterns. They have been widely used not only in Denmark, but also in Germany, the United States and Japan. She also contributed to a number of embroidery guides, some in English, published from the 1950s to the 1970s. Hugo Winckler
Hugo Winckler (4 July 1863 – 19 April 1913) was a German archaeologist and historian who uncovered the capital of the Hittite Empire (Hattusa) at Boğazkale, Turkey. A student of the languages of the ancient Middle East, he wrote extensively on Assyrian cuneiform and the Old Testament, compiled a history of Babylonia and Assyrian that was published in 1891, and translated both the Code of Hammurabi and the Amarna letters. In 1904, he was appointed professor of Oriental languages at the University of Berlin. Education Winckler studied at the University of Berlin with Eberhard Schrader, founder of the German Assyriology. Jutta Hanna Edith Hering-Winckler (born 21 November 1948) is a German lawyer and patron of music. Since 1977, she has been head of a law firm in Minden as a lawyer and notary. Since 1999, she has been president of the Richard Wagner Society in Minden. She received awards for her civic engagement as the driving force of the Wagner project at the Stadttheater Minden, particularly '' Der Ring in Minden'', which brought her hometown to international recognition. Gustav Frands Wilzeck Winckler (13 October 1925 – 20 January 1979) was a popular Danish singer, composer and music publisher. He grew up in the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen and started his career as a decorator. In 1948 as a young man he won a talent competition at National Scala Theatre in Copenhagen, as well as many others in Copenhagen. He was often compared to Bing Crosby. Arnold Von Winckler
Arnold von Winckler (Neisse, 17 February 1856 – Bad Freienwalde, 24 July 1945) was a Prussian military officer, and a general in World War I. He was the son of Lieutenant General Ewald Fedor von Winckler (1813–1895) and joined the Prussian army at the age of 17. By 1912 he commanded the 2nd Guards Infantry Division in Berlin. At the outbreak of World War I, he fought with his division on the Western Front as part of the Second Army and participated in the First Battle of the Marne. In early 1915, his division was moved to the Eastern Front, where it fought in the Gorlice–Tarnów Offensive. On 29 June, he received the command over the XXXXI Reserve Corps and in September over the IV Reserve Corps to participate in the Invasion of Serbia.
