Willow Patterson (born January 22, 1995), known by the stage name Willow Pill, is an American drag performer. She is best known as the winner of season 14 of ''RuPaul's Drag Race'' in 2022. Early life Patterson was raised in Denver, Colorado and attended Colorado State University. Career In an interview with KGNU in 2016, Willow Pill explained her drag persona was "a mix of 41 and 14... I'm kind of obsessed with little stoner girls as well as older women, like moms, that can't catch a break." Her first performance was at a Colorado State University drag show, where she wore "a pink '90s housewife tracksuit, complete with glasses and a pearl necklace." RuPaul's DragCon LA
RuPaul's DragCon LA is an annual expo of drag culture held in Los Angeles billed as a "convention that celebrates 'the art of drag, queer culture and self-expression for all'", which debuted in 2015. Its sister event is RuPaul's DragCon NYC started in 2017, and is considered the "world's largest celebration of drag culture." The fourth season of ''RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars'' was announced by VH1 on August 22, 2018. Prior to the official announcement, RuPaul confirmed in an episode of his podcast ''What's the Tee?'', that filming for the fourth season was underway. Season 3 winner Trixie Mattel, with special guests Katya Zamolodchikova and Detox, hosted a special, ''Trixie's Playhouse'', to announce the cast for the fourth season. Transgender
A transgender (often abbreviated as trans) person is someone whose gender identity or gender expression does not correspond with their sex assigned at birth. Many transgender people experience dysphoria, which they seek to alleviate through transitioning, often adopting a different name and set of pronouns in the process.
