Willoughby Goddard
Willoughby Wittenham Rees Goddard (4 July 1926 – 11 April 2008) was an English actor whose trademark rotund figure was well known on television and in films for more than 40 years. Biography Goddard was born in Bicester, Oxfordshire. He played Mr. Bumble in two versions of Charles Dickens's '' Oliver Twist'' – a 1962 television adaptation, and the original Broadway production of the musical ''Oliver!''. He originated the role of Cardinal Wolsey in the West End production of Robert Bolt's '' A Man for All Seasons''. He appeared in the television series ''The Adventures of William Tell'' (which lasted 39 episodes) in 1958 and 1959 as the villain Landburgher Gessler and as Sir Geoffrey in ''The Man in Room 17'', which ran two series of 13 hour-long black-and-white episodes in 1965 and 1966. Paul Stassino
Phaedros Stassinos (1930 – 28 June 2012) was a Greek Cypriot actor whose international stage name was Paul Stassino. Early life Stassino was born in Platres and grew up in nearby Limassol, but spent most of his acting career in England. He had moved there at the age of 18 to study law. Without telling his parents, he got a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Career He appeared in many British films, in British TV dramas such as ''Danger Man'' and ''The Saint''. He appeared in ''Coronation Street'' in 1968, as Hungarian demolition contractor Miklos Zadic who had a brief relationship with Emily Nugent (played by Eileen Derbyshire). ''The Green Man'' is a 1956 black and white British black comedy film based on the play ''Meet a Body'' by Frank Launder and Sidney Gilliat, who produced and adapted the big-screen version. Plot Harry Hawkins is a freelance assassin who is contracted to blow up Sir Gregory Upshott, a prominent and pompous London businessman.
