Willoughby Community Park Stadium
Willoughby Community Park is soccer stadium located in the Township of Langley, British Columbia, near the Langley Events Centre. In 2023, spectator stands were constructed around the existing turf field for the newly founded Vancouver FC soccer team. It is one of four sports fields in Willoughby Park. The stadium hosted its first match on May 7, 2023, as Vancouver FC drew 1–1 against Cavalry FC with an announced crowd of 6,177. The Township of Langley is a district municipality immediately east of the City of Surrey in southwestern British Columbia, Canada. It extends south from the Fraser River to the Canada–United States border, and west of the City of Abbotsford. Langley Township is not to be confused with the City of Langley, which is adjacent to the township but politically is a separate entity. Langley is located in the eastern part of Metro Vancouver. Artificial Turf
Artificial turf is a surface of synthetic fibers made to look like natural grass. It is most often used in arenas for sports that were originally or are normally played on grass. However, it is now being used on residential lawns and commercial applications as well. The main reason is maintenanceartificial turf stands up to heavy use, such as in sports, and requires no irrigation or trimming. The Canadian Premier League (CPL or CanPL; french: Première ligue canadienne, links=no) is a professional men's Association football, soccer league in Canada. At the top of the Canadian soccer league system, it is the country's primary national soccer league competition. The Langley Events Centre is a multipurpose facility in the Langley, British Columbia (district municipality), Township of Langley, British Columbia, Canada. The LEC debuted in April 2009, hosting the 2009 BC Gymnastics Championships. It boasts an arena bowl with a 5,276 capacity for sports, including 24 individual suites. The LEC also showcases a triple Gymnasium with a capacity of 2,200 spectators under its centre court configuration. Cavalry Football Club, is a Canadian professional soccer club based in the Calgary metropolitan region of Alberta. Percy Perry Stadium is a multi-purpose, fully lit stadium in Coquitlam, British Columbia. It was built for the 1991 British_Columbia_Summer_Games, B.C.
