William W. Taft
William Wilson Taft (born September 15, 1932) is a former member of the Ohio Senate, and a member of the prominent Taft family. From Cleveland, he served the 26th District, which was based out of far eastern Cuyahoga County. He served from 1967 to 1972, when he was replaced by Anice Johnson. Anice Johnson
Anice Wismer Johnson (February 22, 1919 – January 22, 1992) is a former member of the Ohio Senate. She represented the 18th District, which encompassed much of Northeastern Ohio. She served from 1973 to 1975. Prior to this, she was a member of the Ohio House of Representatives. Cleveland State University (CSU) is a public research university in Cleveland, Ohio. It was established in 1964 and opened for classes in 1965 after acquiring the entirety of Fenn College, a private school that had been in operation since 1923. Ohio Senate
The Ohio Senate is the upper house of the Ohio General Assembly. The State Senate, which meets in the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus, first convened in 1803. Senators are elected for four year terms, staggered every two years such that half of the seats are contested at each election. Even numbered seats and odd numbered seats are contested in separate election years. The president of the Ohio Senate presides over the body when in session, and is currently Matt Huffman.
