William Laurence Todd is a Project Manager for Exploration Analogs at NASA's Johnson Space Center (JSC) in Houston, Texas. He has also served as a NASA Undersea Research Team Project Lead and Spaceflight Training Simulation Supervisor at NASA JSC. Todd is a veteran Aquanaut of 5 missions. In 2001, he commanded the first NASA Extreme Environment Mission Operations (NEEMO) mission, a joint NASA-NOAA program to study human survival in the Aquarius underwater laboratory in preparation for future space exploration. Todd has also spent many years helping to develop the futuristic undersea exploration vessel ''SeaOrbiter'', which was inspired by French architect Jacques Rougerie. Billy Todd (September 26, 1929 – November 30, 2008) was the bass singer for the Florida Boys Quartet in the Southern Gospel music industry from the 1950s to 1972. By the end of his tenure with the Florida Boys, he was one of the most popular performers in Southern Gospel music, winning the Singing News Fan Awards for Favorite Bass Singer the first two years it was awarded (1971–72). Will Todd (b 14 January 1970) is an English musician and composer. He is a pianist, who performs regularly with others in his own works. Biography and work Todd was born in County Durham, attended Durham School and joined the choir of St Oswald's Church, Durham under its choirmaster David Higgins. He went on to study music at the University of Bristol. He is a pianist and regularly performs with his trio, and this played a large role in one of his best-known works, his ''Mass in Blue''. William Frederick Todd
William Frederick Todd (May 2, 1854 – March 16, 1935) was a businessman and political figure in New Brunswick. He represented Charlotte County in the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick from 1899 to 1903 and Charlotte in the House of Commons of Canada from 1908 to 1911 as a Liberal member. Todd served as the 16th Lieutenant Governor of New Brunswick from February 28, 1923, to December 27, 1928. He was born in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, the youngest son of Freeman H. William Gowan Todd (1820–1877) was a nineteenth-century author and cleric. In the later years of his life he founded and managed St. Mary's Orphanage, Blackheath, England, where he died on 24 July 1877. Early life The son of physician and president of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) Charles Hawkes Todd (1784–1826) and Elizabeth Bentley (1786–1862), William was born on 1820 in Dublin, Ireland. William Todd (businessman)
William Todd (July 10, 1803 – October 5, 1873) was an American-born businessman who was offered a seat in the Senate of Canada but refused to move to Ottawa and letters patent were not issued. He was affiliated with the Liberal Party of Canada. Todd was the son of Hannah Worthley Todd and William Todd, a Maine merchant who prospered in the West Indies trade until the Napoleonic Wars ruined the business and he moved his family to New Brunswick in 1811. Young William was succeeding as a merchant at Milltown on the St. Croix River by the time he was age 22. He eventually became president of the St Croix and Penobscot Railroad and president of the St. Stephen Branch Railroad (which became the New Brunswick and Canada Railway). William Todd (c. 1739 – October 10, 1810) was an American soldier and politician from Pennsylvania. Early life Todd was born about 1739 probably in Hunterdon County New Jersey to Irish Immigrants Robert Todd and his second wife Elizabeth. His ancestors were alleged to be Scottish rebels and Jacobites, Cavaliers in the Scottish Civil War who had raised the standard of rebellion too often and been exiled to Ireland from their native Angus, Scotland though documentary evidence of this has not been found. His parents were reported by a grandson to have emigrated from Ireland to America in 1737. Robert Todd was in Bethlehem Township, Hunterdon County New Jersey by 1743 until 1755 before coming to Chester County later in 1755 and then by 1760 to the portion of neighboring Philadelphia County that later became Montgomery County.
