William Sheridan (politician)
William Sheridan (12 March 1858 – 16 November 1931) was an Australian politician. He was born in Galway, Ireland. Having moved to Tasmania, he was elected to the Tasmanian House of Assembly in 1909 as a Labor member for Denison. He was defeated in 1913 but returned in a recount following the death of John Davies in 1914. In 1925 he switched seats to contest Franklin, which he held until his defeat in 1928. Will Sheridan Jr. (born January 12, 1985) is a former college basketball player who played for the Villanova Wildcats Men's Basketball program from 2003 to 2007. After graduation, he played as an international basketball player in Italy. He is now a rapper, musician and recording artist initially signed with Royal Advisor Records and an EP released entitled ''Ngoma''. Since then, he has release six other projects including G.I.A.N.T, his first full-length LP, G2R, LexIcon, all available on all online music outlets. Bill Sheridan
William Sheridan (born January 27, 1959) is an American football coach who is currently the linebackers coach for the Arlington Renegades. Sheridan was previously the defensive coordinator for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL). He was also a coach for a number of college teams, including Notre Dame, Army, and Michigan State. From 2005 to 2008 he was the linebackers coach for the NFL's New York Giants. In 2009, he was the defensive coordinator for the New York Giants. He had stints with the Miami Dolphins, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Detroit Lions before returning to NCAA football at Boston College in 2018. After two years there, he was hired by the Air Force Academy to be their new defensive line coach beginning in 2020. Bill Sheridan (basketball)
William E. Sheridan Jr. (January 11, 1942 – December 26, 2020) was an American basketball coach. He made a name for himself coaching for several clubs in the Netherlands, as well as for the Dutch national team. Early life Sheridan grew up in West Brighton, Staten Island and played for St. Peter's Boys High School, where he was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2001. He also played baseball, being a pitcher for the Uncle Bill Canlon's Travelers. He served in the United States Marine Corps where he rose to the rank of captain. Coaching career Sheridan started his coaching career as an assistant coach with Virginia Technical Institute. In December 1973, Sheridan signed as head coach of Punch Delft of the Dutch Eredivisie. Punch went on a 16-game win streak in the season and also won the NBB Cup. In his second season with Punch, the club won its second ever Eredivisie title.
