William Price (17 September 1789 – 14 March 1867) was a Quebec lumber merchant and manufacturer. Price was born at Hornsey, now in the London Borough of Haringey, England, to Richard Price and Mary Evans, a family that was originally from Wales in 1789. William Harry Price (born 4 December 1859) was an English cricketer who played two first-class matches for Liverpool and District in 1889. He was born in Ruddington, Nottinghamshire. Both his games were at Aigburth in Liverpool. In the first, against Yorkshire, he made 26 * and 1* and took 3-52 (including the wicket of George Ulyett) in an innings defeat. In the second, against Nottinghamshire, he made only 0 and 1 with the bat, but took 6–51 in the first innings and a further wicket in the second despite Nottinghamshire's nine-wicket victory. William Norris James Price (born 11 May 1935) was a member of the Queensland Legislative Assembly. Biography Price was born in Brisbane, Queensland, the son of John Benedict Price and his wife Mary Helen Jessie Brodie (née Norris) He was educated at St Finbarr's in Ashgrove, Marist College Ashgrove and Nudgee College before receiving a Certificate of Teaching at Kelvin Grove Teachers College and then attended the University of Queensland. He then taught on the Darling Downs before heading overseas to teach in Great Britain, Turkey and Canada. After teaching he was a restaurant owner and service station proprietor. William Herbert Price (May 25, 1877 – December 21, 1963) was a politician in Ontario, Canada. He was a Conservative member of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1914 to 1937 who represented the Toronto riding of Parkdale. He served as Treasurer and Attorney General in the governments of Howard Ferguson and George Stewart Henry. Background He was born in Owen Sound, Ontario, the son of William H. Price. He taught school for several years, then studied at Osgoode Hall and the University of Toronto. He was called to the Ontario bar in 1904 and went on to practice as a barrister and solicitor. In 1910, he married Alice Gentles.
