William Pagonis
Lieutenant General William Gus Pagonis (born April 30, 1941) served as the director of American logistics during the Gulf War of 1991. Career Pagonis served in the United States Army for 29 years, retiring with the three-star rank of lieutenant general. He was commissioned into the United States (U.S.) Army through the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) in 1964. Pagonis attended the U.S. Army Infantry School in 1965. From February 1967 to February 1968, he served in Vietnam as Commander of the 1097th Transportation Company. He returned to Vietnam from June 1970 to November 1970 as Division Transportation Officer, 101st Airborne Division (Airmobile) and through July 1971 as Executive Officer, 2d Battalion (Airmobile), 501st Infantry, 101st Airborne Division (Airmobile). Charleroi, Pennsylvania
Charleroi ( ) is a borough in Washington County, Pennsylvania, along the Monongahela River, 21 miles south of Pittsburgh. Charleroi was settled by Walloons in 1890 and incorporated in 1891. The 2020 census recorded a population of 4,210. There has been a large-scale cessation of industrial activities in the region. The decrease in the population is associated with the decline of regional heavy and medium industries, especially the steel-making industry, all once fed by the cheap transportation on the Monongahela River which extends from upstream of Charleroi well into northern West Virginia and north & downstream past McKeesport to the mouth of the Monongahela at Pittsburgh. Alpha Chi Rho (), commonly known as Crows, Crow, or AXP, is a men's collegiate fraternity founded on June 4, 1895, at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, by the Reverend Paul Ziegler, his son Carl Ziegler, and Carl's friends William H. Rouse, Herbert T. Sherriff and William A.D. Eardeley. It is a charter member of the North American Interfraternity Conference, and its national headquarters is R.B. Stewart National Headquarters, located in Neptune, New Jersey. The symbol of the fraternity is the labarum and men of Alpha Chi Rho are commonly called "Crows."
