William Forrester (racecourse Owner)
William Forrester (26 August 1842 – 23 August 1901) was an Australian racehorse and racecourse owner. Descended from Robert Forrester, a First Fleet convict, Forrester was known as Black Bill to distinguished him from a cousin also of the name William Forrester. He was a racehorse owner and trainer who owned Warwick Farm. Forrester achieved a quinella in the 1897 Melbourne Cup with the brother horses, Gaulus and The Grafter. The Grafter also won the Cup in 1898, surviving a protest. In 1881, Forrester purchased land at what was originally called Warwick Park. He renamed it Warwick Farm to correspond with his own initials, and built a family homestead along with racing stables and a thoroughbred stud. Forrester held the inaugural race meeting at Warwick Farm on 16 March 1889, after forming a syndicate called ''The Warwick Farm Racing Club''. William Forrester (politician)
William Forrester (16 March 1855 – 23 October 1926) was a Liberal party and Laurier Liberals member of the House of Commons of Canada. He was born in St. Marys, Canada West and became a farmer and manufacturer. He was first elected to Parliament at the Perth South riding in the 1921 general election after an unsuccessful campaign there in the 1917 election as a Laurier Liberal. After serving his only federal term, the 14th Canadian Parliament 14 (fourteen) is a natural number following 13 and preceding 15. In relation to the word "four" ( 4), 14 is spelled "fourteen". Will Forrester
William Samuel Forrester (born 29 June 2001) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for club Bolton Wanderers. Forrester made his professional debut at Stoke City in May 2021 and spent time on loan at Mansfield Town before signing with Port Vale in July 2022. He was sold to Bolton Wanderers in July 2023. Career Stoke City Forrester was born in Alsager and joined at the Stoke City academy at the age of six. He progressed through the youth teams at Stoke, and made his senior debut on 9 October 2018, playing for the U21s in the EFL Trophy against Morecambe. Forrester made his professional debut on 8 May 2021, scoring the opening goal on the final day of the 2020–21 season in a 2–0 away win against AFC Bournemouth in the Championship. William Ray Forrester
William Ray Forrester (January 14, 1911 – February 16, 2001) served as the dean of three law schools: (1) Vanderbilt University Law School; (2) Tulane University Law School; and (3) Cornell University Law School. Forrester was born in Little Rock, Arkansas. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Arkansas and his J.D. degree from the University of Chicago Law School. Bill Forrester
William Ronald Forrester Jr. (born December 18, 1957) is an American former competition swimmer, Olympic medalist, and former world record-holder. He represented the United States as an 18-year-old at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Quebec, where he won a bronze medal in the 200-meter butterfly, finishing behind U.S. teammates Mike Bruner and Steve Gregg. Forrester won three gold and two bronze medals at the world championships in 1975 and 1978. Forrester graduated from Auburn University in 1980 and later worked as a swim coach, founding the Georgia Coastal Aquatic Team in 1994.
