William Duncombe, Viscount Helmsley
William Reginald Duncombe, Viscount Helmsley (1 August 1852 – 24 December 1881), was a British Conservative Party politician. Helmsley was the son of William Duncombe, 1st Earl of Feversham, and his wife Mabel Violet (née Graham), daughter of Sir James Graham, 2nd Baronet. He was elected to the House of Commons as one of two representatives for the North Riding of Yorkshire in the 1874 general election, a seat he held until his death seven years later. Lord Helmsley married the seventeen-year-old Lady Muriel Frances Louisa, daughter of Charles Chetwynd-Talbot, 19th Earl of Shrewsbury, in 1876. They had one son and one daughter. Guy Dawnay (politician)
Guy Cuthbert Dawnay (26 July 1848 – 28 February 1889) was a Conservative politician. He was killed by a wounded buffalo near Mombassa in East Africa. Dawnay was the fourth son of William Dawnay, 7th Viscount Downe, and his wife Mary Isabel, daughter of the Right Reverend the Hon. Richard Bagot, Bishop of Oxford. He was educated at Eton and Oxford. Dawnay fought at the Battle of Gingindlovu (1879) as a volunteer and also in Egypt in 1882 and at Suakin (in Transport Dept.) in 1885. He entered Parliament for the North Riding of Yorkshire at a by-election in 1882, a seat he held until the 1885 election, when he was defeated for the new Cleveland constituency. He served in the Conservative administration of Lord Salisbury as Surveyor-General of the Ordnance from 1885 to 1886. The Hon. Octavius Duncombe (8 April 1817 – 3 December 1879) was a British Conservative politician. Sir Frederick Acclom Milbank, 1st Baronet (21 April 1820 – 28 April 1898), was a British Liberal Member of Parliament.
