William C. Skurla
William Charles Skurla (born June 1, 1956, in Duluth, Minnesota, United States) is the Primate of the Ruthenian Greek Catholic Church and the Metropolitan Archeparch or Archbishop of the Ruthenian Catholic Archeparchy of Pittsburgh. He succeeded Archbishop Basil Myron Schott, who died in August 2010 of lymphoma. Skurla was appointed on January 19, 2012, by Pope Benedict XVI as metropolitan, and enthroned in a Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Munhall, Pennsylvania, on April 18, 2012. His Grace or Her Grace is an English Style (manner of address), style used for various high-ranking personages. It was the style used to address English monarchs until Henry VIII and the Scottish monarchs up to the Act of Union (1707), Act of Union of 1707, which united the Kingdom of Scotland and the Kingdom of England. Today, the style is used when referring to archbishops and non-royal dukes and duchesses in the United Kingdom. Gerald Nicholas Dino (January 11, 1940 – November 14, 2020) was an American hierarch of the Ruthenian Catholic Church. He was the bishop of the Byzantine Catholic Eparchy of Phoenix from 2008 to 2016. Biography Dino was born in 1940 in Binghamton, New York. On March 21, 1965, he was ordained a priest for the Byzantine Catholic Eparchy of Passaic. On December 6, 2007, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him bishop of the Eparchy of Van Nuys, and on March 27, 2008, he was consecrated a bishop. At his request, Pope Benedict XVI transferred the see of the Eparchy of Van Nuys to Phoenix, Arizona in February 2010. Kurt Richard Burnette (born 7 November 1955 at Sculthorpe Royal Air Force Base in Norfolk, England, UK) is the Bishop or Eparch of the Byzantine Catholic Eparchy of Passaic. On 20 October 2020, Pope Francis named Burnette as apostolic administrator of the Slovak Catholic Eparchy of Saints Cyril and Methodius of Toronto. On 3 March, 2022, Pope Francis changed the jurisdiction and circumscription of the Eparchy of Saints Cyril and Methodius of Toronto to establish the Exarchate of Saints Cyril and Methodius of Toronto in the Ruthenian Catholic Church. Munhall, Pennsylvania
Munhall is a borough in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States, on the west bank of the Monongahela River, south of the confluence of the Monongahela and the Allegheny rivers where the Ohio River begins. It abuts the borough of Homestead. A large part of the Homestead Works of the Carnegie Steel Company existed in Munhall. Steel products were the only items made in Munhall in 1910 when 5,185 people lived here. In 1940, 13,900 people lived in Munhall. The population was 11,406 at the 2010 census.
