William B. Broydrick
William B. Broydrick (born October 30, 1948 in Boston, Massachusetts), was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, serving in the 16th Assembly District. He graduated from Cornell University with a B.A. in Government in 1970 and attended Johns Hopkins University 1970–1971. Broydrick is married with one child. Career Broydrick was first elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly in a special election in January 1978 and reelected in 1978. He is a Democrat. Prior to his time as a legislator he served as former Congressman Les Aspin's press secretary, managed Congressman Robert Cornell's campaign, and became former Wisconsin Governor Patrick Lucey’s senior administrative assistant. Les Aspin Center For Government
The Les Aspin Center for Government, or simply the Les Aspin Center or "LAC" is an educational program and extension of Marquette University based in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Washington, D.C., with a separate office at Marquette's home campus in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Center's mission is to offer students who are interested in public policy a chance to work and study in the United States capital or study abroad in developing countries like Kenya and Tanzania through its Africa program. The Les Aspin Center's permanent building in D.C. hosts students for semester or summer classes while they also complete internships in various government sectors. Deborah Jeane Palfrey (March 18, 1956 – May 1, 2008), dubbed the D. C. Madam by the news media, operated Pamela Martin and Associates, an escort agency in Washington, D. C. Although she maintained that the company's services were legal, she was convicted on April 15, 2008, of racketeering, using the mail for illegal purposes, and money laundering. Slightly over two weeks later, facing a prison sentence of five or six years, she was found hanged. Autopsy results and the final police investigative report concluded that her death was a suicide. Early life Palfrey was born in the Pittsburgh area town of Charleroi, Pennsylvania, but spent her teens in Orlando, Florida. Her father was a grocer. Patrick Joseph Lucey (March 21, 1918 – May 10, 2014) was an American politician. A member of the United States Democratic Party, Democratic Party, he served as the List of governors of Wisconsin, 38th Governor of Wisconsin from 1971 to 1977. He was also independent presidential candidate John B. Anderson's running mate in the 1980 United States presidential election, 1980 presidential election. Born in La Crosse, Wisconsin, Lucey served in state and local government offices after graduating from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, University of Wisconsin.
