Willard Pugh
Willard Earl Pugh (born June 16, 1959) is an American actor with numerous film and television credits. He has appeared in notable mainstream Hollywood films such as ''The Color Purple (1985 film), The Color Purple'' and ''Air Force One (film), Air Force One'' as well as genre films such as ''RoboCop 2'' and ''Mil Mascaras vs. the Aztec Mummy''. In the latter film his excellence as an ensemble actor was specifically cited by PopMatters film critic Bill Gibron. Pugh taught broadcasting and film classes at Chaffey College for 11 years in Rancho Cucamonga, California, Rancho Cucamonga in the early 1990s. Pugh was born in Memphis, Tennessee, the son of Pearlie (married and maiden names, née Harris) and Henry Minor Pugh and graduated from Hamilton High School. ''A Rage in Harlem'' is a 1991 American crime film directed by Bill Duke and loosely based on Chester Himes' novel ''A Rage in Harlem''. The film stars Forest Whitaker, Danny Glover, Badja Djola, Robin Givens and Gregory Hines. Guyver (film)
''The Guyver'' (released in Europe and South America as ''Mutronics'') is a 1991 American tokusatsu superhero film made in conjunction with Shochiku Films, loosely based on the Japanese manga series of the same name by Yoshiki Takaya. The film tells of a young man, Sean Barker, who discovers an alien artifact called "The Unit" which changes Barker into an alien-hybrid super soldier called "The Guyver". Barker learns that a major corporation called "Chronos" is after the Guyver unit and soon discovers that the people behind Chronos are not human after all.
