Will Loconto
Will Loconto is a musician, composer, and producer based in Austin, Texas. He is the lead vocalist/songwriter for the U.S. band T42, was a keyboardist for the band Information Society, and has composed music for various video game soundtracks including ''Daikatana''. Career In 1989, Loconto replaced Jimron Goff as lead vocalist for the band T42, a Dallas area band that began in the Deep Ellum music scene in the late 1980s. Loconto quit T42 in 1993 in order to be the keyboardist in the synth band Information Society. Loconto left Information Society to work for Dallas-based computer game developer Ion Storm as a sound designer and composer. He was part of the initial design team for the game '' John Romero’s'' ''Daikatana''. Information Society (band)
Information Society (also known as InSoc) is an American band from Minneapolis–St. Paul, Minnesota, initially active from 1982 to 1997, primarily consisting of Kurt Harland Larson, Paul Robb, and James Cassidy; the latter two reconvened the band in 2006, initially with Christopher Anton as lead vocalist, then with Harland rejoining them as lead vocalist by 2008. The group's breakout single was 1988's "What's on Your Mind (Pure Energy)", a dance song which spent 39 weeks on the dance chart, going straight to number one and would also peak at number three on the Hot 100 pop chart. The track included a vocal sample of Mr. Spock (Leonard Nimoy) from ''Star Trek'', saying "pure energy". The band has been honored with a star on the outside mural of the Minneapolis nightclub First Avenue, recognizing performers that have played sold-out shows or have otherwise demonstrated a major contribution to the culture at the iconic venue. ''The Operative: No One Lives Forever'' (abbreviated as ''NOLF'') is a first-person shooter video game with stealth gameplay elements, developed by Monolith Productions and published by Fox Interactive, released for Windows in 2000. The game was Porting, ported later to the PlayStation 2 and Mac OS X in 2002. A story-driven game set in the 1960s, ''No One Lives Forever'' has been critically acclaimed for its stylistic representation of the era in the spirit of many spy films and television series of that decade, as well as for its humor. Players control female protagonist Cate Archer, who works for a secret organization that watches over world peace. In addition to a range of firearms, the game contains several gadgets disguised as ordinary female fashion items.
