Will Evans (footballer, Born 1991)
William George Evans (born 9 October 1991) is an English professional footballer who plays for Scunthorpe United. Career Evans played for Fairford Town and then Cricklade before joining Swindon Town and progressing through their Centre of Excellence. He signed his first professional contract in April 2010, after captaining the youth and reserve sides throughout the 2009–10 season. He made his professional debut in a 3–0 Football League Trophy victory at Southampton on 31 August 2010. After spending three months on loan with Hereford United where he made 6 appearances he joined Hereford permanently in January 2012 on a free transfer. On 6 March 2012, Evans scored the fastest goal in Hereford United history in a 2–2 draw at Macclesfield Town. William Albert Evans (born 1 July 1997) is a Welsh professional footballer who plays for Newport County, as a winger. Club career Evans was born in the Welsh village of Llangedwyn and progressed through the Shrewsbury Town youth system. After playing for Cardiff Metropolitan University and Bala Town, Evans signed for Newport County in May 2022 for an undisclosed fee. He made his football league debut for Newport on 30 July 2022 in the starting line up for the 1-1 League Two draw against Sutton United. William Giles Evans (born 28 January 1997 in Norwich, England) is an English rugby union openside flanker who plays for Harlequins in Premiership Rugby. He previously played for Leicester Tigers, he made his Tigers debut against Gloucester having graduated from the academy.
