Will Clarke (cyclist)
William Clarke (born 11 April 1985) is an Australian professional road racing cyclist, who most recently rode for UCI WorldTeam . He is not related to fellow Australian cyclist and past teammate Simon Clarke. William Clarke is a descendant of Australian politician and businessman William John Turner Clarke. Career Clarke was born, raised, and resides on his family's farm near Campbell Town, Tasmania, Australia. Clarke rode as a ''stagiaire'' with in 2010 in the UCI World Tour, while signed to (2008–2010) in the UCI Oceania Tour. He moved to a UCI ProTeam full-time in 2011 for , before spending a season at both in 2012, and in 2013. Clarke then moved to the team in 2014, as the team moved up to the Professional Continental level. After three seasons with , Clarke returned to the World Tour with , riding with them until the end of 2018. The Four Days of Dunkirk (french: Quatre Jours de Dunkerque) is road bicycle race around the Nord-Pas de Calais region of northern France. Despite the name of the race, since the addition of an individual time trial in 1963, the race has been held over a 5 or 6 day period for most of its history. 2012 Tour Down Under
The 2012 Santos Tour Down Under was the 14th edition of the Tour Down Under stage race. It took place from 17 to 22 January in and around Adelaide, South Australia, and was the first race of the 2012 UCI World Tour. The race was won by Australian Simon Gerrans of the team, after taking the lead on the penultimate stage of the race and held the race leader's ochre jersey to the finish, the next day, in Adelaide. The 2016 Herald Sun Tour was a road bicycle racing, road cycling stage race that took place in Victoria, Australia, Victoria, Australia, between 3 and 7 February 2016. The race was rated as a 2.1 event as part of the 2016 UCI Oceania Tour. 2015 Herald Sun Tour
The 2015 Jayco Herald Sun Tour was the 62nd edition of the Herald Sun Tour road cycling stage race. The race was rated as 2.1 and was part of the 2015 UCI Oceania Tour. The 2015 race consisted of five stages in Victoria, starting in Melbourne on 4 February and finished at the summit finish on Arthurs Seat on 8 February. The race was won by Australian Cameron Meyer of the cycling team. Meyer succeeded his teammate Simon Clarke, who won the 2014 edition of the race and finished fourth in the 2015 race. Meyer had taken over the overall lead following a victory in the first road stage of the race and was able to defend his lead through the remaining stages. The Herald Sun Tour is an Australian professional bicycle race held in Melbourne and provincial Victoria, sanctioned by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI). The first tour was held in October 1952 as a six-day event. It is now held annually over five days in February. It is named after the ''Herald Sun'', Melbourne's only daily tabloid newspaper. An individual time trial (ITT) is a road bicycle race in which cyclists race alone against the clock (in French: ''contre la montre'' – literally "against the watch", in Italian: ''tappa a cronometro'' "stopwatch stage"). There are also track-based time trials where riders compete in velodromes, and team time trials (TTT).
