Wilhelmino Sy-Alvarado
Wilhelmino "Willy" Manucdoc Sy-Alvarado (born December 29, 1946) is a Filipino politician and businessman serving as the governor of Bulacan from 2010 to 2019. He previously served as a Vice Governor of Bulacan from 2019 to 2022, then he served as the house representative for Bulacan's 1st congressional district from 1998 to 2007 and Hagonoy Mayor from 1986 to 1998. Early life Wilhelmino Sy-Alvarado was born on December 29, 1946 in Barangay Santo Rosario, Hagonoy, Bulacan to Jose Sy-Alvarado and Angelina Manucdoc. He was a consistent elementary and high school valedictorian. He completed his high school education at Mayor Ramona S. Trillana High School (formerly Southern Institute) in Hagonoy. Roberto "Obet" Mamangon Pagdanganan (born July 19, 1946, in Calumpit, Bulacan, Philippines) is a Filipino politician who served as the 29th Governor of Bulacan from 1988 to 1998. Personal life Robert Pagdanganan was born to former councillor Juan T. Pagdanganan, Jr. (now deceased) and Mrs Rosalina Mamangon Pagdanganan. He is the brother of former Calumpit, Bulacan mayor Ramon Pagdanganan (1953–2008). He is married to the former Susana Oblefias of Sariaya, Quezon who is a governor of the Philippine National Red Cross and Central Board Member of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines. They have two children, Maria Rossana (married to Michael Allan Sicat) who is a former senior manager at Unilever PRC who now have three children. They have a younger son Roberto Raymond. Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr., a former Philippine senator, was assassinated on Sunday, August 21, 1983, on the tarmac of Manila International Airport (now named Ninoy Aquino International Airport in his honor). A longtime political opponent of President Ferdinand Marcos, Aquino had just landed in his home country after three years of self-imposed exile in the United States when he was shot in the head while being escorted from an aircraft to a vehicle that was waiting to transport him to prison. Benigno "Ninoy" Simeon Aquino Jr., (; November 27, 1932 – August 21, 1983) was a Filipino politician who served as a senator of the Philippines (1967–1972) and governor of the province of Tarlac.
