Wilf Scolding
Wilfred John Scolding (born 25 April 1990) is a British actor. On television, he is known for his role in the BBC One drama ''The Passing Bells'' (2014) and the Netflix series ''The One'' (2021). His films include '' Bees Make Honey'' (2017). Early life Scolding was born in Cambridge. He attended Kingswood School in Bath. He went on to train at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, graduating in 2013. Career Upon graduating from drama school in 2013, Scolding made his professional stage debut in ''Strange Interlude'' at the National Theatre. He had his first major television role as Freddie in the 2014 BBC One war miniseries ''The Passing Bells''. This was followed by further stage roles in the English Touring Theatre production of ''Arcadia'', ''The Win Bin'' at the Old Red Lion, ''The Glass Menagerie'' at the Nuffield Theatre in Southampton in 2015, and ''A Midsummer Night's Dream'' at Theatre Royal, Bath in 2016. ''A Midsummer Night's Dream'' is a comedy written by William Shakespeare 1595 or 1596. The play is set in Athens, and consists of several subplots that revolve around the marriage of Theseus and Hippolyta. One subplot involves a conflict among four Athenian lovers. Another follows a group of six amateur actors rehearsing the play which they are to perform before the wedding. Nottingham Playhouse is a theatre in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England. It was first established as a repertory theatre in 1948 when it operated from a former cinema in Goldsmith Street. Directors during this period included Val May and Frank Dunlop. The current building opened in 1963. The building The architect of the current theatre, constructed as an example of Modern architecture, was Peter Moro who had worked on the interior design of the Royal Festival Hall in London. Peter Dougan Capaldi (; born 14 April 1958) is a Scottish actor, director, writer and musician.
