Wildeyes (stylized as WILDEYES) is an American folk band based in Nashville, Tennessee, and consisting of Emily Kohavi, Daniel Kohavi, and Max Hoffman. The Kohavis and Hoffman were neighbors who started playing music together for fun. They started working together professionally as Scriptkiddie, and later changed to Wildeyes. Firefly Music Festival
Firefly Music Festival is a music festival produced by AEG Presents that was first held on July 20–22, 2012, in Dover, Delaware. Firefly takes place in The Woodlands of Dover Motor Speedway, a festival ground, over the span of three days. Many nationally known musical acts have performed at the festival, with over 100 performances held over the course of the festival in 2016. The festival producers have been working together to establish the event at the current venue with the hopes of having "an open-air festival on the East Coast with plenty of outdoor camping". In past years the festival has included up to seven stages; The Porch Stage, The Lawn Stage, The Backyard Stage, the Treehouse, The Coffee House, The Pavilion and The Firefly Stage. List Of Tiny Desk Concerts
Tiny Desk Concerts is a video series of live concerts hosted by NPR Music at the desk of '' All Songs Considered'' host Bob Boilen in Washington, D.C. The first Tiny Desk Concert came about in 2008 after Boilen and NPR Music editor Stephen Thompson left South by Southwest frustrated that they couldn't hear the music over the crowd noise. Thompson joked that the musician, folk singer Laura Gibson, should just perform at Boilen's desk. A month later Boilen arranged for her to do just that, making an impromptu recording and posting it online. The name is taken from Boilen's 1970s psychedelic dance band called Tiny Desk Unit. The series has previously drawn criticism for narrowness in the musical genres it includes—described as focused on " hipster-infused indie rock" by Zachary Crockett at ''Vox''—to the exclusion of genres like country and hip-hop.
