Wildcat Stadium (Louisiana)
Wildcat Stadium is a 5,000-seat multi-purpose stadium opened in 1981 in Destrehan, Louisiana. It is home to the Destrehan High School Fighting Wildcats football, soccer and track and field teams in the LHSAA. The stadium playing surface is FieldTurf with an all-weather running track surrounding the field. In addition to the Destrehan High School athletic teams, the stadium hosts the annual Ed Reed River Parishes football jamboree games and the annual Ed Reed football camp. The St. Charles Parish School Board and Recreation Department also utilizes the facility for multiple athletic events. Wildcat Stadium is an 11,015-seat open-air multi-purpose stadium in Durham, New Hampshire, on the campus of the University of New Hampshire (UNH). It is home to the New Hampshire Wildcats football, lacrosse and track and field varsity teams. The stadium, which runs west-northwest, consists of a FieldTurf playing surface surrounded by a 400-metre track. On either side of the track are aluminum stands (the larger home stands being on northeast side). The stadium lies just southwest of the Field House, which houses Lundholm Gym as well as Swazey Pool and the Jerry Azumah Performance Center. Elizabeth Dee Shaw Stewart Stadium is an outdoor multi-purpose stadium in the western United States, located on the campus of Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. Originally Wildcat Stadium, it was renamed in 1998 for Stewart (1905–1996), a notable campus and community benefactor. Used primarily for football, the 17,312-seat venue is the home of the Weber State Wildcats of the Big Sky Conference. It was expanded in 1966 with the construction of the primary grandstand along the northwest sideline, nearly doubling its capacity. The elevation of its synthetic turf playing field is above sea level; aligned northeast to southwest, the field was natural grass until 2011.
