''Wild West Romance'' is a 1928 American silent film, silent Western (genre), Western film directed by R.L. Hough, and written by Jack Cunningham (screenwriter), Jack Cunningham and Delos Sutherland. The film stars Rex Bell, Caryl Lincoln, Neil Neely, Billy Butts, Jack Walters, and Fred Parker. The film was released on June 10, 1928, by Fox Film, Fox Film Corporation. Plot A ne'er-do-well cowboy named Phil (Rex Bell) defeats a bandit and wins the love of a minister's daughter (Caryl Lincoln). Jack Cunningham (screenwriter)
Jack Cunningham (April 1, 1882 – October 4, 1941) was an American screenwriter. He wrote for more than 130 films between 1913 and 1939. He was born in Ionia, Iowa, and died from a cerebral hemorrhage in Santa Monica, California. Delos Sutherland
The island of Delos (; el, Δήλος ; Attic: , Doric: ), near Mykonos, near the centre of the Cyclades archipelago, is one of the most important mythological, historical, and archaeological sites in Greece. George Pearce (actor)
George C. Pearce (June 26, 1865 – August 13, 1940) was an American stage and film actor, primarily of the silent era. He appeared in more than 130 films between 1914 and 1939. He was born in New York, New York, and died in Los Angeles, California. He was also known as George C. Pierce. Pearce also acted on stage, including portraying a doctor in ''White Cargo'' in Los Angeles in 1927. On Broadway, he acted in ''The Rainbow'' (1912), ''Billy'' (1909), ''The Mimic World'' (1908), ''D'Arcy of the Guards'' (1901), ''Manon Lescaut'' (1901), ''Brother Officers'' (1900), and ''Lord and Lady Algy'' (1899). John Stone (September 12, 1888 – June 3, 1961) was an American film producer and screenwriter. He was born in New York City and died in Los Angeles, California.
