''Wild City'' (迷城) is a 2015 Hong Kong-Chinese action film directed by Ringo Lam and starring Louis Koo, Shawn Yue, Tong Liya and Joseph Chang. It was released on 30 July 2015 in China and on 20 August 2015 in Hong Kong. It is Lam's first feature film since 2007's ''Triangle''. Ringo Lam
Ringo Lam Ling-Tung (, Cantonese: Lam Ling-tung, 8 December 1955 – 29 December 2018) was a Hong Kong film director, producer, and screenwriter. Born in Hong Kong in 1955, Lam initially went to acting school. After finding he preferred making films to acting, he went to Canada to study film. In 1983, he returned and began filming comedy films. After the commercial success of his film ''Aces Go Places IV'', he was allowed to develop his own film. Lam directed '' City on Fire'' in 1987, which led him to winning his first Hong Kong Film Award. Lam followed up ''City on Fire'' with other similar films that shared a dark view of Hong Kong society. Many of these films starred Chow Yun-fat. In 1996, Lam made his first American film, ''Maximum Risk'' starring Jean-Claude Van Damme. Lam would continue working on film productions in both Hong Kong and two more American productions with Jean-Claude Van Damme until 2003. Lam died at his home on 29 December 2018. Philip Keung
Philip Keung Ho-man (; born 26 October 1966) is a Hong Kong actor and film producer. Keung began his acting career as a television actor in 1985 for Asia Television (ATV), and also began appearing in films from 1988. He eventually left ATV in 2010 and became a full-time film actor while occasionally acting in television series from time to time. In 2017, Keung was nominated for the Hong Kong Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in the 2016 film, ''Trivisa'', and in the following year, Keung won the award for his performance in the 2017 film, ''Shock Wave''. ''Victim'' () is a 1999 Hong Kong thriller film directed and co-written by Ringo Lam. The film stars Tony Leung Ka-fai, Lau Ching-wan and Amy Kwok and is about a computer programmer named Ma who is found in a haunted hotel by a cop. The programmer begins to terrify his girlfriend Amy Fu, which leads the cops to think that Ma is covering up some larger crime. On its release in Hong Kong theatres, the film's ending was changed for 50% of the film prints due to an argument between Ringo Lam and producer Joe Ma. The film's plot is set in eponymous 1997 when cops find a corpse and bomb chemicals, Inspector Pao (Lau Ching-wan) arrests suspect Mak Kwan (Francis Ng) hoping that his girlfriend will lead them to his Taiwanese gang, but Mak makes an escape and the girlfriend makes off for Macao.
