''Wild Child'' is the debut studio album from American singer and actress E. G. Daily, released by A&M in 1985. Although the album was not a commercial success, the lead single "Say It, Say It" reached No. 1 on the US ''Billboard'' Hot Dance Club Play chart and No. 70 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 in 1986. The second single, " Love in the Shadows", reached No. 6 on the ''Billboard'' Hot Dance Club Play Songs Chart. ''Wild Child'' was recorded at Arco Studios in Munich, Oasis, Cherokee and Conway Recording Studios in Los Angeles, and Sigma Sound Studios in New York City. "Just for You" was dedicated to Jon-Erik Hexum, Daily's boyfriend of the time, an American model and actor who died in late 1984 as a result of a firearms accident on the set of the CBS television series ''Cover Up'' in which he played the male lead. Pop Rock
Pop rock (also typeset as pop/rock) is a fusion genre with an emphasis on professional songwriting and recording craft, and less emphasis on attitude than rock music. ''She's So Unusual'' is the debut studio album by American singer and songwriter Cyndi Lauper, released on October 14, 1983, by Portrait Records. The album was re-released in 2014 to commemorate its 30th anniversary, and was called ''She's So Unusual: A 30th Anniversary Celebration''. The re-release contains demos and remixes of previously released material, as well as new artwork. In 1978, Lauper formed the band Blue Angel. The band soon signed a recording contract with Polydor Records; however, their debut album, '' Blue Angel'', was a commercial failure. The band parted ways after firing their manager, who sued Lauper for $80,000 and forced her into bankruptcy. Lauper went on to sing in many New York night clubs, and caught the eye of David Wolf, who became her manager and subsequently got her signed to Portrait Records. Eddie Martinez (musician)
Eddie Martinez is an American guitarist, born and raised in New York City and of Puerto Rican ancestry, who mainly performs as a session musician. Career Martinez's professional music career began in the 1960s and continues today. He has recorded and toured with dozens of musicians representing numerous styles (including rock, jazz, rap, and R&B), but he is probably best known for work he did in the mid-1980s. Arthur Barrow (born February 28, 1952) is a multi-instrumental musician, best known for his stint as a bass guitar player for Frank Zappa in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Early life Barrow was born in San Antonio, Texas in 1952 and grew up in Alamo Heights, Texas, Alamo Heights. His father played piano and organ, as had his father, Arthur Barrow of Buffalo, New York, a strict piano teacher and organist. "Sunset People" is a song by American singer Donna Summer taken from her very successful album '' Bad Girls''. The album, released on Casablanca Records in the US, had already produced several chart-topping singles for the disco star, but Summer had resigned from the label and taken a lawsuit against them.
