Jan Kazimierz Wilczyński (; 6 February 1806 – 2 March 1885) was a Polish-Lithuanian medical doctor, collector and publisher. He is famous for publishing the ''Vilnius Album'' ( pl, Album Wileńskie), which is the greatest monument of 19th-century Lithuanian graphics. Biography Jan Kazimierz Wilczyński was born in near Utena, as a son of Zygmunt Wilczyński and Tekla Römer, daughter of Franciszek Römer treasurer of Trakai. He had two brothers Ludwik and Franciszek, and two sisters Barbara and Józefa. Ludwik took an active part in the November Uprising, for which his property was confiscated. Franciszek, on the other hand, was occupied with running the farm. He studied in the . Józef Olszyna-Wilczyński
Józef Konstanty Olszyna-Wilczyński (; 27 November 1890 – 22 September 1939) was a Polish people, Polish general and one of the high-ranking commanders of the Polish Army. A veteran of World War I, the Polish-Ukrainian War and the Polish-Soviet War, he was executed by the Soviets during the Invasion of Poland (1939), Invasion of Poland of 1939. Early life Józef Wilczyński was born 27 November 1890 in Kraków (Cracow). In 1910 he graduated from the St. Anne's gymnasium in Kraków in Austria-Hungary, Austro-Hungarian Galicia (Central Europe), Galicia and started his studies at the architectural department of the Lviv Polytechnic, Lwów University of Science and Technology. Walter Wilczynski (September 18, 1952, in Trenton, New Jersey – June 9, 2020, in Atlanta, Georgia) was an American ethologist, neuroscientist, and professor at Georgia State University (GSU) in Atlanta, Georgia. Early life and education Wilczynski was born in Trenton, New Jersey. He received his bachelor's degree in both biology and psychology from Lehigh University in 1974, after which he received his Ph.D. in neuroscience from the University of Michigan in 1978. He then completed his postdoc at the Section of Neurobiology and Behavior at Cornell University, where he worked in the lab of Robert Capranica. Career In 1983, Wilczynski joined the faculty of the University of Texas at Austin as an assistant professor of psychology. Warmia ( pl, Warmia; Latin: ''Varmia'', ''Warmia''; ; Warmian: ''Warńija''; lt, Varmė; Old Prussian: ''Wārmi'') is both a historical and an ethnographic region in northern Poland, forming part of historical Prussia. Katerina Wilczynski
Katerina Wilczynski (7 July 1894 – 1978) was a 20th-century painter, print maker and illustrator. She was born in Poland but spent a large part of her career in Britain and Italy. Wilczynski painted portraits and cityscapes throughout her career, but is best known as a landscape artist. Biography Wilczynski was born in Poznań, Poland, but spent extended periods of her early life in Berlin. She studied art in Leipzig in 1916 and 1917 and then in Berlin during 1918 before moving to Paris where she undertook some freelance work. In 1930, Wilczynski won a Prix de Rome scholarship and used the funding to move to that city. While in Rome she drew several churches and monuments, before in 1939, she moved to London. During the Second World War, Wilczynski drew buildings and landmarks damaged by bombing and contributed pieces to the war artists exhibitions held in the National Gallery. Ernest Julius Wilczynski (November 13, 1876 – September 14, 1932) was an American mathematician considered the founder of projective differential geometry. Born in Hamburg, Germany, Wilczynski's family emigrated to America and settled in Chicago, Illinois when he was very young. He attended public school in the US but went to college in Germany and received his PhD from the University of Berlin in 1897. He taught at the University of California until 1907, the University of Illinois from 1907 to 1910, and the University of Chicago from 1910 until illness forced his absence from the classroom in 1923.
