Wiki Wiki Shuttle
The Wiki Wiki Shuttle () is a free shuttle bus service at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in Honolulu, Hawaii. Shuttles run between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm local time, carrying people and baggage between the various terminals. In the Hawaiian language, the word means quick. In 1994, the shuttle's name inspired American computer programmer Ward Cunningham to build the first ever user-editable website "WikiWikiWeb". Although WikiWikiWeb is itself no longer user-editable, the term wiki for a user-editable website thus derives from the shuttle's name. Reduction of operations , the airport was moving away from dependence on the Wiki Wiki buses, which were put in place in 1970 as "an interim measure". ''Vicky the Viking'', known as ''Wickie und die starken Männer'' () in Germany and Austria and in Japan, is an animated television series which tells the adventures of Vicky, a young Viking boy who uses his wits to help his Viking fellows. It is based on the novel ''Vicke Viking'' (1963) written by the List of Swedish language writers, Swedish author Runer Jonsson. WikiLeaks () is an international Nonprofit organization, non-profit organisation that published news leaks and classified media provided by anonymous Source (journalism), sources. A wiki wiki dollar was a giveaway promotion in the United States from the Chevron gasoline company during the 1960s. The advertising campaign featured a wiki wiki girl, played by dancer Irene Tsu, dressed in a grass skirt and performing a brisk hula while standing on a gasoline pump. ''Martin Eden'' is a 1909 novel by American author Jack London about a young proletarian autodidact struggling to become a writer. It was first serialized in ''The Pacific Monthly'' magazine from September 1908 to September 1909 and then published in book form by Macmillan in September 1909. Eden represents writers' frustration with publishers. The central theme of Eden's developing artistic sensibilities places the novel in the tradition of the ''Künstlerroman'', which narrates an artist's formation and development. Eden differs from London in rejecting socialism, attacking it as " slave morality" and relying on Nietzschean individualism. WIKI (95.3 FM) is a country music– formatted radio station licensed to Carrollton, Kentucky, United States, and primarily serving Madison, Indiana. The station is currently owned by Wagon Wheel Broadcasting, LLC. WIKI maintains studios on Clifty Drive in northern Madison, while its transmitter is located along Culls Ridge Road in rural eastern Trimble County, Kentucky west of Carrollton. History WIKI went on-the-air in April of 1968 under the call letters WVCM (Welcome Voice of Country Music). The station was launched by a group of local investors under the leadership of Dwight Moreillon and Charlie Cutler.
