Wicked Game (film)
''Wicked Game'' (Egyptian Arabic: لعبة الأشرار translit: ''Loubat El Ashrar'' or ''Luebat al'ashrar or Lou’bat Al-Achrar'' aliases: ''The Game of the Wicked'') is an Egyptian crime thriller released in 1991. The film stars Salah Zulfikar and is directed by Henry Barakat. Synopsis Author Riyad Kamel marries the beautiful Camelia despite her previous relationship with Azmi, his lawyer. While Azmi marries Manar, who is Raiyad's secretary. Manar suspects that Azmi and Camellia are back together. She records a tape for Camelia urging Azmi to kill Manar and Riyad, so she plots to take them down. Henry Barakat
Henry Antoun Barakat ( ar, هنري أنطون بركات, 11 June 1914, Cairo – 27 May 1997, Cairo) was a well known Egyptian film director. He was born in Shubra to a Melkite Greek Catholic father of Syro-Lebanese descent, and a Syro-Lebanese mother. His father, Dr. Antoun Barakat, was a physician and received the title of Beik by the King for the services he rendered., He directed some of the most famous films in the Egyptian Cinema. Salah Zulfikar
Salah El Din Ahmed Mourad Zulfikar ( ar, صلاح ذو الفقار; ; 18 January 1926 – 22 December 1993) was an Egyptian actor and film producer. He started his career as a police officer in the Egyptian National Police, before becoming an actor in 1956. He is regarded as one of the most influential actors in the history of Egyptian film industry. Zulfikar had roles in more than hundred feature films in multiple genres during a 37-year career, mostly as the leading actor. In 1996, in the centenary of Egyptian cinema, ten of his films as an actor and five of his films as a producer were listed in the Top hundred Egyptian films of the 20th century. Salah Zulfikar was one of Egypt's heroes in its battle against the occupation while serving in the police. Egyptian Arabic, locally known as Colloquial Egyptian ( ar, العامية المصرية, ), or simply Masri (also Masry) (), is the most widely spoken vernacular Arabic dialect in Egypt. It is part of the Afro-Asiatic language family, and originated in the Nile Delta in Lower Egypt. The ca. 100 million Egyptians speak a continuum of dialects, among which Cairene is the most prominent. Athar El-Hakim (born 24 August 1957) is an Egyptian actress. Biography El-Hakim attended Ain Shams University and earned a degree in English. She subsequently worked in public relations at a hotel. El-Hakim also modelled and worked as radio announcer. She was spotted by film producer Riad El-Erian, who persuaded her to embark on an acting career. El-Hakim made her acting debut in 1979, in ''The Killer Who Killed No One'' directed by Ahmed Yassin. The same year, she starred in the TV show ''Abnaie Al Aezzaa Shokran''. El-Hakim received an award from the Arab International Radio and Television Association for her part in the show, and got a Papyrus Award for acting during a competition held by the Ministry of Culture.
