Energy Northwest (formerly Washington Public Power Supply System) is a public power joint operating agency in the Pacific Northwest, northwest United States, formed in 1957 by Washington (state), Washington state law to produce at-cost power for Northwest utilities. Headquartered in the Tri-Cities, Washington, Tri-Cities at Richland, Washington, the WPPSS became commonly (and derisively) known as "Whoops!", due to over-commitment to nuclear power in the 1970s which brought about financial collapse and the second largest municipal bond default in U.S. history. Patrick Francis Creeden (May 23, 1906 – April 20, 1992) was an American baseball second baseman who played one season in Major League Baseball (MLB). He played five games for the Boston Red Sox in 1931. Nicknamed "Whoops", he batted left-handed but threw right-handed and was listed at and . Signed by the Red Sox without having previously played any minor league baseball, Creeden made his debut on April 14, 1931. In eight at bats, he failed to amass a single hit and committed two errors. He played his final game on April 21, exactly a week after his debut. He never played professional baseball again and died on April 20, 1992, in Brockton, Massachusetts. Hoopoes () are colourful birds found across Africa, Asia, and Europe, notable for their distinctive "crown" of feathers. Three living and one extinct species are recognized, though for many years all of the extant species were lumped as a single species—''Upupa epops''. In fact, some taxonomists still consider all three species conspecific. Some authorities also keep the African and Eurasian hoopoe together but split the Madagascar hoopoe. The Eurasian hoopoe is common in its range and has a large population, so it is evaluated as Least Concern on The IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. ''Woops!'' is an American postapocalyptic sitcom that aired on the Fox network from September 27 to December 6, 1992.
