"Who I Am?" is a song performed by Poland, Polish band Blog 27 from their 2005 debut album ''LOL (Blog 27 album), LOL''. It was released as the final single from the album in late 2006, and the first single after the departure of one of the lead singers, Ala Boratyn. Overview The song is a piano ballad which tells about following one's dreams despite adversities and other people's opinions. Tola Szlagowska, Tola has re-recorded the first verse of the song, originally performed by Ala Boratyn, Ala, and released the new solo version as a single at the end of 2006, weeks after Ala's departure from the band. It was Blog 27's fourth international single, and the fifth overall single, following "I Still Don't Know Ya" which was exclusive to Poland. Blog 27
Blog 27 was a Polish Musical ensemble, musical group founded in 2005 by two teenage vocalists Tola Szlagowska and Ala Boratyn performing pop music with elements of pop punk and pop rock. The duo's debut album, ''LOL (Blog 27 album), LOL'' (2005), was certified Music recording certification, double platinum in Poland and also achieved moderate success in Western Europe and Japan. It included three internationally charting singles: "Uh La La La#Blog 27 version, Uh La La La", "Hey Boy (Get Your Ass Up)" and "Wid Out Ya". After Ala's departure in 2006, the act released one more album, ''Before I'll Die...'' (2008), but shortly after that Tola relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a degree in music, and the band has since been inactive. LOL (Blog 27 Album)
''LOL'' (stylised ') is the debut studio album by Polish pop group Blog 27, released in Poland in 2005 and internationally in 2006. Release The album was originally released in Poland on Ala and Tola's 13th birthday on 27 November 2005. The first edition included only 10 tracks and 2 music videos. The second edition, released in spring 2006, included two new songs plus instrumental karaoke version of all 12 tracks. This edition also had the outro in "I'm Callin' U" edited out and sported a slightly different cover. The Japanese version released later that year used an entirely different cover picture. On 27 November 2006, the album was re-released again, replacing the original version of " Who I Am?" with Tola's solo re-recording and adding a guitar version of the song.
