Whitfield Crane
William Whitfield Crane IV (born January 19, 1968) is an American singer and founding member and lead vocalist of the rock band Ugly Kid Joe, which was formed in 1989. He has also worked in music outside his band, from performing guest vocals on numerous songs to contributing to musical efforts with other rock bands such as Life of Agony, Another Animal, and Richards/Crane. Wacken Open Air
Wacken Open Air (, abbreviated as W:O:A) is a rock music, rock music festival, held annually since 1990 on the first weekend of August in the village of Wacken, Schleswig-Holstein, Wacken in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. Almost all styles and subgenres of hard rock and heavy metal music, metal are represented and hosted. It is now one of the largest heavy metal festivals in the world and one of the largest open-air festivals in Germany. "Born to Raise Hell" is a song by the British rock band Motörhead. Originally written by Lemmy Kilmister for the German band Skew Siskin, it plays over the opening credits of the 1994 film ''Airheads'' in which Lemmy makes a cameo appearance. The song was released as a single in November 1994, featuring Lemmy, Ice-T and Ugly Kid Joe lead singer Whitfield Crane. The single features a radio edit, the original '' Bastards'' album version and the Dust Brothers Live and Funky Mix. A special 12" vinyl picture disc pressing was made, using the same picture as the CD single release. This version was recorded in addition to the previous recordings of "Hellraiser" and "Hell on Earth", as a last minute job to play over the end credits of the '' Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth'' film, although it didn't appear on the film's original soundtrack album. "Killed by Death" is a song by the English heavy metal band Motörhead. Released in 1984, in 7" and 12" vinyl pressings. It peaked at number 51 in the UK Singles Chart. Promotion To assist its promotion in the United States, Bronze/Island pressed a 12" promo version for radio play (identical versions on both sides). It is one of the most difficult to find of all Motörhead items. There is also a video made for the track, directed by the manager of the Plasmatics, Rod Swenson, which was banned by MTV for "excessive and senseless violence". Despite relatively high-profile exposure on TV programmes such as Channel 4's '' The Tube'', the single failed to make any significant impression on the UK Singles Chart. O2 Academy Glasgow
The O2 Academy Glasgow (formerly the Carling Academy Glasgow) is a music venue on Eglinton Street in the Gorbals ( Laurieston) area of Glasgow. It holds 2,500 people. It was one of two Academy Music Group venues in Glasgow, until the O2 ABC Glasgow closed due to fire damage in 2018. It was one of a group of music venues in Britain branded Carling Academy, the best known including the Brixton Academy and the O2 Academy Birmingham. Since November 2008, the venue has been rebranded by network operator O2 to its new name, following a new sponsorship deal with Live Nation. James Shannon Larkin (born April 24, 1967) is an American musician, best known as the drummer of rock band Godsmack. He replaced the previous drummer Tommy Stewart in June 2002. Prior to Godsmack, he was a member of Amen, Candlebox, Ugly Kid Joe, and Souls at Zero (formerly Wrathchild America). Shannon played drums for Godsmack for their albums '' Faceless'', '' IV'', '' The Other Side EP'', '' The Oracle'', '' 1000hp'', and their latest album ''When Legends Rise''. Career Larkin has been playing drums since the age of ten. He formed Wrathchild America in 1978, recording two albums for Atlantic Records before being dropped by the label. ''25 & Alive Boneshaker'' is a live DVD released in November 2001 featuring Motörhead's 25th anniversary concert at Brixton Academy on 22 October 2000. The concert has also been released as a double live CD entitled '' Live at Brixton Academy'' in December 2003. The DVD also includes an acoustic session recorded at IHT Studios, Clapham, some Motörhead archive film, interviews with the band and their guests, and songs filmed at the Wacken Open Air on 4 August 2001.
