White Rock Conservation Park
White Rock, a prominent pale-coloured rockface on a peak, is the major feature of interest of the White Rock Conservation Park, situated within the White Rock, Queensland (Ipswich) locality, Australia. It is also known as "Nugum" to the traditional owners, the Ugarapul, Ugarapul People. White Rock is a white sandstone outcrop and one of many on the ridge. The rock has views in all directions although there are small trees on top. The rock is quite soft and is covered with graffiti, from as early as 1919. The area was used as a training area by American forces in the late 1930s and 1940s. This protected the area from logging with munitions lodged in trees creating risk for timber cutters. Ugarapul
The Jagera people, also written Yagarr, Yaggera, and other variants, are the Australian Aboriginal people who spoke the Yuggera language. The Yuggera language which encompassed a number of dialects was spoken by the traditional owners of the territories from Moreton Bay to the base of the Toowoomba ranges including the city of Brisbane. Language Yuggera is classified as belonging to the Durubalic subgroup of the Pama–Nyungan languages, but is also treated as the general name for the languages of the Brisbane area. Bulldust or bull dust is a fine, soft and powdery red aeolian dust that is common across Australia, especially in the Outback and desert. Bulldust is a type of fugitive dust that when disturbed can have dangerous effects. Bulldust is common on remote roads, especially in the far north of Australia where the wet and dry season can cause the roads to either be boggy or very dry. The glossy black cockatoo (''Calyptorhynchus lathami''), is the smallest member of the subfamily Calyptorhynchinae found in eastern Australia. Adult glossy black cockatoos may reach in length. They are sexually dimorphic. Males are blackish brown, except for their prominent red tail bands; the females are dark brownish with some yellow spotting. Three subspecies are recognised. Lantana
''Lantana'' () is a genus of about 150 species of perennial flowering plants in the verbena family, Verbenaceae. They are native to tropical regions of the Americas and Africa but exist as an introduced species in numerous areas, especially in the Australian-Pacific region, South and Northeastern part of India. The genus includes both herbaceous plants and shrubs growing to tall. Their common names are shrub verbenas or lantanas. The generic name originated in Late Latin, where it refers to the unrelated ''Viburnum lantana''.
