White Light Motorcade (band)
White Light Motorcade was a modern rock band from New York City. The band consisted of Harley Di Nardo (vocals, guitars), Mark Lewis (guitars), Steven Slingeneyer (drums), Tommy Salmorin (bass). In 2003, the band released their debut album, ''Thank You, Goodnight!'' On Octone / A&M Records, produced by Brad Jones. The album showed the band's 1960s garage rock and 1970s glam influences. Jones saw them at a NYC showcase and was impressed by the band's performance and song melodies and signed them. In December 2003, the band created a video for "My Way", featuring Sophie Lovell Anderson and Huggy Leaver. Shandrach Lindo directed a video for the single "One In Three". Both videos featured the band's new drummer, Richard Stuverud. Modern Rock
Modern rock is an umbrella term used to describe rock music that is found on college rock radio stations. Some radio stations use this term to distinguish themselves from classic rock, which is based in 1960s–1980s rock music. Huggy Leaver (born Hugh Leaver), sometimes credited as Huggy Lever, is a British actor and former vocalist of The Plastix, an early UK Punk band. He subsequently became lead singer of the Hastings Mod Revival Band Teenbeats from 1979-1982. He has appeared in ''Trial & Retribution'', '' Birds of a Feather'', ''A Touch of Frost'' and ''Black Books''. He also played Paul in ''Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels'' and Mario in the 2000 film ''Going Off Big Time'' and appeared as a cab driver in ''The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen'' and the pawn shop owner in ''Fast & Furious 6''. Richard Stuverud
Richard Allen Stuverud Jr. (born September 26, 1969) is an American drummer from Seattle, Washington. He lives in Oakland, California where he writes, arranges and produces songs. He plays drums in the Oakland based bands, REQ'D, Slow Phase and Lefav. Due to Pearl Jam drummer Matt Cameron testing positive for COVID-19, Stuverud played with Pearl Jam on several shows of the Gigaton Tour in May of 2022. He shared substitute drumming duties during these shows together with Josh Klinghoffer and Dave Krusen. For his debut album, Stuverud worked with lyricist, Derek McCulloch on “Memories in Kodachrome,” released on May 1, 2020. The follow-up full length album, "Hummingbirds" was released in March, 2022. A 7" vinyl, Not Afraid/Put your Guns Down written by Stuverud in response to the Paris attacks and against gun violence was produced by Pearl Jam's Jeff Ament and released by Monkey Wrench Records in 2017. Ash (band)
Ash are a Northern Irish rock band formed in Downpatrick in 1992 by vocalist and guitarist Tim Wheeler, bassist Mark Hamilton and drummer Rick McMurray. As a three-piece, they released mini-album '' Trailer'' in 1994 and full-length album '' 1977'' in 1996. This 1996 release was named by ''NME'' as one of the 500 greatest albums of all time. After the success of their full debut the band recruited Charlotte Hatherley as a guitarist and vocalist, releasing their second record ''Nu-Clear Sounds'' in 1998. The Donnas were an American rock band formed in Palo Alto, California, in 1993. The band consisted of Brett Anderson (lead vocals), Allison Robertson (guitar, backing vocals), Maya Ford (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Torry Castellano (drums, percussion, backing vocals). Amy Cesari replaced Castellano, who left the band in 2009 due to tendonitis. They drew inspiration from the Ramones, The Runaways, Girlschool, AC/DC, Bachman–Turner Overdrive and Kiss. OK Go is an American rock band originally from Chicago, Illinois, now based in Los Angeles, California.
