''White Horse Inn'' (Spanish: ''La hostería del caballito blanco'') is a 1948 Argentine musical comedy film directed by Benito Perojo and written by Juan Carlos Muello based upon the homonymous opera '' White Horse Inn'' by Ralph Benatzky and Robert Stolz. It was premiered on April 15, 1948. The plot is about a famous singer who falls in love with the owner of an inn. Benito Perojo
Benito Perojo González (Madrid, 14 June 1894 – Madrid, 11 November 1974) was a successful Spanish film director and film producer. Biography Son of José Perojo Figueras (1850–1908), a journalist and politician of Cuban origin, by his wife, Ana Cortina Fuentes (1871–1954). On 18 July 1966 he was honoured by the Caballero Gran Cruz de la Orden del Mérito Civil. He died in Madrid on 11 November 1974 aged 80 and he was survived by his daughter Carmen Perojo Carreras. Susana Canales
Susana Canales Niaucel (5 September 1933 – 22 March 2021) was a Spanish film and television actress. Initially a child actor she switched to playing grown-up parts in the early 1950s. She starred in the 1951 drama ''Black Sky'' (1951). Hector Quintanilla Jr. (May 7, 1923 â€“ May 18, 1998) was a United States Air Force (USAF) Lieutenant Colonel, best known as the last chief officer of Project Blue Book, the USAF's official unidentified flying object investigative arm. Biography Born in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico in 1923, Quintanilla immigrated to the United States at age six with his parents and three brothers in 1929. He and his family crossed the Gateway to the Americas International Bridge in Laredo, Texas. His family made their home in west side San Antonio, around the Laredo and Martin street neighborhoods; the family could only afford a $1.25 a week shack with a dirt floor. Hector and his brothers did not mind, because they mostly wore their shoes on Sundays to go to church.
