White Birds Productions
White Birds Productions was a French video game developer. White Birds was founded by Benoît Sokal, Olivier Fontenay, Jean-Philippe Messian and Michel Bams in August 2003. White Birds specialised in adventure games but also handled other work, such as synthetic image creation, comics and merchandising. The four founders had previously worked together at another French video game company, Microïds, producing ''Amerzone'', ''Syberia'' and ''Syberia II''. Microïds has since maintained connections with the company, for example by publishing '' Sinking Island''. White Birds Productions was based in the Paris suburb of Joinville-le-Pont (94) and employed 20 people. White Birds was a member of the PlayAll project, a middleware cross-platform created in collaboration with other game studios and university laboratories. Joinville-le-Pont () is a commune in the southeastern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located from the center of Paris. History The commune was created in 1791 under the name La Branche-du-Pont-de-Saint-Maur (literally "The Branch of Saint-Maur's Bridge") by detaching its territory from the commune of Saint-Maur-des-Fossés. An arcade game with short levels, the 2D version of the game was first published in 2009 and in 3D in 2012. Babel Rising 3D was published with Xbox achievements for Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8 in October 2013. The storyline is based on the legend of the Tower of Babel, where God unleashes his wrath and powers against pagans who endeavor to build a tower to reach him. Plot Newly appointed forensics detective Matt Simmons must solve his first case, which is the double murder of a co-worker and his wife.
