London Borough Of Harrow
The London Borough of Harrow () is a London borough in northwest London, England; it forms part of Outer London. It borders four other London boroughs Barnet to the east of ancient Watling Street (now the A5 road), Brent to the southeast, Ealing to the south and Hillingdon to the west plus the Hertfordshire districts of Three Rivers and Hertsmere to the north. The local authority is Harrow London Borough Council. The London borough was formed in 1965, based on boundaries that had been established in 1934. The borough is made up of three towns: Harrow, Pinner and Stanmore, but also includes western parts of Edgware. St Gregory's Catholic Science College
St Gregory's Catholic Science College is a coeducational Roman Catholic secondary school and sixth form located in the Kenton area of the London Borough of Brent, England. It is located near the border of the London Borough of Harrow, and accepts pupils from both boroughs. The school has had great success in recent years, offering highly valued GCSEs such as statistics and business studies with most of its students achieving 70% A-A*. The Red Balloon Learner Centre
Red Balloon Learner Centres provide a safe, full-time learning environment for children aged eleven to sixteen (eighteen at Red Balloon of the Air) who have self-excluded from mainstream school due to bullying, trauma or mental health issues. The first Centre, in Cambridge, was set up in 1996 by founders Carrie Herbert and Ruth Loshak. There are now five physical Centres: Cambridge, Norwich, North-West London, Reading and Worthing. Stanmore College
Stanmore College is a small college for further education in the London Borough of Harrow. It was established in 1987 as one of the borough's three tertiary colleges, originally called Elm Park College. In 1994 it was renamed to its present name to facilitate closer representation to the local community of Stanmore. The college was rated 'Good' by Ofsted in 2017 and its self-assessment rated it 'Outstanding' in 2020.
