"Whistle While You Twurk" is a song by American hip hop group Ying Yang Twins. It was released on March 12, 2000 as the lead single from their debut studio album ''Thug Walkin''' (2000). Produced by Mr. Collipark, the song contains an interpolation of the song "Whistle While You Work" from the 1937 film Sn''ow White and the Seven Dwarfs''. There are two remixes of the song: the "ColliPark Remix", and the "E.A. Mix", which features DJ Kizzy Rock and Mr. Ball. The song was a hit in the early 2000's and was played on urban and pop radio stations. The Ying Yang Twins are an American hip hop duo consisting of Kaine (born Eric Jackson on December 16, 1978) and D-Roc (born Deongelo/D'Angelo Holmes on February 13, 1979). They are not twin brothers. They did the windows to the walls song. The group debuted in 2000 and rose to mainstream popularity in 2003 collaborating with Britney Spears on her album ''In the Zone'' and with Lil Jon on " Get Low". Crunk
Crunk is a subgenre of hip hop music that emerged in the early 1990s and gained mainstream success during the mid 2000s. Crunk is often up-tempo and one of Southern hip hop's more dance and club oriented subgenres. An archetypal crunk track frequently uses a main groove consisting of layered keyboard synths, a drum machine clapping rhythm, heavy basslines, and shouting vocals, often in a Call and response (music), call and response manner. Twerking (; possibly from 'to work') is a type of dance that came out of the bounce music scene of New Orleans in the late 1980s. Individually performed chiefly but not exclusively by women, performers dance to popular music in a sexually provocative manner involving throwing or thrusting their hips back or shaking their buttocks, often in a low squatting stance.
