Wettingen
Wettingen is a residential community in the district of Baden in the Swiss canton of Aargau. With a population about 20,000, Wettingen is the second-largest municipality in the canton. Geography Wettingen is located on the right bank of the Limmat, located in the Limmat Valley (German: ''Limmattal''), before the deep valley in Baden. Most of the town is located on the Wettingerfeld (Wettinger Field), which is a flat plain surrounded on all sides by natural borders: to the south and west by the Limmat, to the north by the steep southern slope of the Lägern, and to the East by the Sulperg (). A vineyard is located on a section of the Lägern’s slope. Between the Lägern and the Sulperg is the undeveloped Eigital (Eigi valley). At the Eigital’s west end, in the northeastern section of the Wettingerfeld, is the relatively well-maintained old village center. Furttal Railway Line
Furttal is the name of a valley region in Switzerland between Lägern and Altberg in the Dielsdorf district of the canton of Zurich. The area's name stems from the German word for ford, or ''furt'', and is named after the crossing over the Limmat in the community of Würenlos on the west side of the region. The area is bordered in the east near the community of Regensdorf by the Katzensee lakes. The population of the region is expanding rapidly due to its proximity to city of Zurich and its beautiful landscape. The S6 is a regional railway service of the S-Bahn Zürich on the Zürcher Verkehrsverbund (ZVV), Zürich transportation network, and is one of the network's services connecting the cantons of Zürich and Aargau. The S12 is a regional railway line of the S-Bahn Zürich on the Zürcher Verkehrsverbund (ZVV), Zürich transportation network. The S12 is one of the network's lines connecting the cantons of Zürich, Aargau, Schaffhausen, Thurgau and St. Gallen. Route * Line S12 commences at Brugg station, in the canton of Aargau, and follows the Zürich–Baden railway as far as Zürich Hardbrücke station and the approaches to Zürich Hauptbahnhof station. Passing through the lower level platforms at this station, the line then passes through the Hirschengraben and Zürichberg tunnels, and Stettbach station, before joining the Zürich to Winterthur line.
