"Wet" is a song by American singer Nicole Scherzinger, taken from her debut solo studio album ''Killer Love'' (2011). The song was written by Ester Dean and Traci Hale, co-written and produced by Norwegian duo StarGate (Tor E. Hermansen and Mikkel S. Eriksen) and Sandy Vee. The song was serviced as the fourth single from the album to British radio stations on August 28, 2011, by Polydor Records, while in Australia it was released in the following month. The dance-pop song features Scherzinger singing that "her body is aching for a man's touch". It received generally positive reviews from music critics. The song received moderate commercial success where it peaked at number twenty-one on the UK Singles Chart, in addition to peaking at number ten on the Irish Singles Chart, where it also became one of her highest charting releases. Nicole Scherzinger (; born Nicole Prascovia Elikolani Valiente, June 29, 1978) is an American singer, songwriter, dancer, actress, and television personality. She is best known as the lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls, one of the best-selling girl groups of all time. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Scherzinger began acting at the age of 14 and studied musical theatre at Wright State University. The Irish Singles Chart is the Republic of Ireland's music industry standard singles popularity chart issued weekly by the Irish Recorded Music Association (IRMA) and compiled on their behalf by the Official Charts Company. Chart rankings are based on sales, which are compiled through over-the-counter retail data captured electronically each day from retailers' EPOS systems. All major record shops, digital retailers and streaming services contribute to the chart, accounting for over 95% of the market. A new chart is compiled and officially released to the public by the Irish Recorded Music Association on Friday at noon. Each chart is dated with the "week-ending" date of the previous Thursday (i.e., the day before issue). 4Music is a British music television channel owned and operated by Channel Four Television Corporation. The original incarnation was launched on 15 August 2008, and until 29 June 2022, showed a mix of music and entertainment programming. It was a replacement of The Hits television channel. The original version of 4Music was replaced by E4 Extra, a new sister channel and extension of E4, on 29 June 2022. At the same time, 4Music was relaunched into a full-time music TV channel and replaced Box Hits, which ceased broadcasting since. Phil Tan is a Malaysian-American music and audio engineer. Early life and education Tan was born in Malaysia. He attended Full Sail University in Florida in the U.S., where he attained a degree in Recording Arts in 1990.
