West Frisia ( la, Frisia Occidentalis) is a term that, when used in an international context, refers to the traditionally Frisian areas that are located west of the Dollart (i.e. in the present-day Netherlands). Berry Westra (born February 28, 1961) is a Dutch bridge professional. At age 18 he made his debut with former bridge world champion Hans Kreijns in the ''meesterklasse'' (the highest competitive level in the Dutch bridge league). In 1986 Westra became European champion youth bridge. The world championship in the same category followed a year later. As member of the Dutch national team, he ended third at the World Team Olympiad in 1992 as well as in the European Teams Championship of 1995. In 1993 he won the Bermuda Bowl, the World Championship Open Teams. In 2007 Westra won a bronze medal at the European Team Championships in Antalya. Westray
Westray (, sco, Westree) is one of the Orkney Islands in Scotland, with a usual resident population of just under 600 people. Its main village is Pierowall, with a heritage centre, the 15th-century Lady Kirk church and pedestrian ferry service to nearby Papa Westray island. Westray has a number of archeological sites dating from 3500 BC, and remains of several Norse-Viking settlements. The spectacular sea cliffs around Noup Head are home to thousands of seabirds. The Pteromalidae are a very large family of mostly parasitoid wasps, with some 3,450 described species in about 640 genera (the number was greater, but many species and genera have been reduced by synonymy in recent years). Burgh Westra is a historic home located near Gloucester, Gloucester County, Virginia. Built between 1842 and 1851 on 2,400 acres, the estate's original design is a two and a half story brick dwelling in the Gothic Revival style. In addition to the main house, the property contains an original dairy, a rebuilt carriage house, guest cottage, gazebo built upon original sketches of Dr Taliaferro, north and south gardens modeled on the original house designs, and a kitchen vegetable garden. The MV ''Steve Irwin'' was the flagship of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, and was used in their direct action campaigns against whaling and against illegal fisheries activities. The vessel was built in 1975 and formerly served as a Scottish Fisheries Protection Agency conservation enforcement patrol boat, the FPV ''Westra'', for 28 years. Sea Shepherd had originally christened the vessel the MY ''Robert Hunter'' after Canadian Robert Hunter, co-founder of Greenpeace, but it was renamed in honor of ''The Crocodile Hunter'' star Steve Irwin, who had died just over a year earlier, on December 5, 2007.
