Dinuba is a city in Tulare County, California, United States. The population was 21,453 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Visalia-Porterville metropolitan statistical area. The Alta District Museum is located in Dinuba in a restored railroad station; the museum has a collection of materials that illustrate local history. The name of the city is of unknown origin. While various theories about the origin exist, none have been verified. It probably is a fanciful name applied by railroad construction engineers at the time the branch line was built in this area. The city's original name was Sibleyville, named for James Sibley, who deeded 240 acres to the Pacific Improvement Company (Southern Pacific Company). Hanford High School
Hanford High School is a public high school located on the northern edge of Richland, Washington. It is part of the Richland School District. The school's mascot is the falcon, and its school colors are purple and gold. The high school, built in 1972, was originally part of a K-12 complex, which included an elementary and junior high (later a middle school). The elementary school was closed in the mid-1980s due to school district budget cuts, and the middle school was closed in 2005 when Enterprise Middle School was opened in West Richland in the same year. Lemoore High School
Lemoore Union High School (commonly known as Lemoore High School or Lemoore High) is a public school located in Lemoore, California. It serves grades 9 through 12 and is accredited through the California Department of Education. Its enrollment for 2006-2007 was 2066 students. History Lemoore High School was originally opened in 1900 to 35 students assembled as freshmen in the old Heinlen Hall in downtown Lemoore and began classes. Students in that first year were offered Latin, ancient History, Algebra, and English. In 1902, the high school moved after Lemoore voters approved a school bond to build a new facility on the corner of Fox and B Streets. Lemoore High Schools first graduating class (1904) consisted of three people: Margaret Hayes, Arthur Blank, and Ed Blank. In 1909, the first football team was formed from the 18 boys enrolled. Mission Oak High School
Mission Oak High School is a public high school in Tulare, California. Along with Tulare Union High School and Tulare Western High School, it is part of the Tulare Joint Union High School District. History Mission Oak opened in August 2008. The school began teaching only freshmen and sophomores, later adding junior and seniors. Mission Oak is Tulare's newest addition (high school) to the district since Tulare Western opened in 1959. Its first senior class was in 2011. Enrollment is approximately 1,675. Isidro Carrasco was the school's first principal, and after a five-year absence, returned to the school as principal in July 2020. Tulare Union High School () is a public school for secondary education in Tulare, Tulare County, California, United States. This high school is part of the Tulare Joint Union High School District, along with Tulare Western High School and Mission Oak High School, led by Superintendent Tony Rodriguez. Enrollment at the four-year high school is approximately 1,650 for the current school year. The Administration Building and the school's Tulare Community Auditorium are listed in the National Register of Historic Places. History The original Tulare school was established in 1873 in a two-room school building.
