Districts Of Myanmar
Districts ( my, ခရိုင်, Kharuing; ) are the second-level administrative divisions of Myanmar. They are the sub-divisions of the States and Regions of Myanmar. According to the Myanmar Information Management Unit (MIMU), as of December 2015, there are 76 districts in Myanmar, which in turn are subdivided into townships, then towns, wards and villages. The District's role is more supervisory as the Townships are the basic administrative unit of local governance. A District is led by a District Administrator, a civil servant appointed through the General Administration Department (GAD) of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MOHA). The Minister of Home Affairs is to be appointed by the military according to the 2008 constitution. Kyimyindaing Township
Kyimyindaing Township ( my, ကြည့်မြင်တိုင် မြို့နယ်, ; also Kyeemyindaing Township, Kyimyindine, or Kyi Myin Dine, and anglicised as Kemmendine) is located in the western part of Yangon, and shares borders with Kamayut Township in the north, the Yangon River and Twante Township in the west, Sanchaung Township in the east, and Ahlon Township in the south. Sanchaung Township ( my, စမ်းချောင်းမြို့နယ် ) is in the north central part of Yangon. Kyauktada Township
Kyauktada Township ( my, ကျောက်တံတား မြို့နယ် ) is the center of downtown Yangon, Myanmar. The township consists of nine wards, and shares borders with Botataung Township in the east, Seikkan Township and Yangon River in the south, Pabedan Township in the west and Mingala Taungnyunt Township in the north. Yangon Region
Yangon Region(, ; formerly Rangoon Division and Yangon Division) is an administrative region of Myanmar. Located in the heart of Lower Myanmar, the division is bordered by Bago Region to the north and east, the Gulf of Martaban to the south, and Ayeyarwady Region to the west. Kamayut Township ( my, ကမာရွတ် မြို့နယ်, ; also spelt Kamaryut Township) is located in the north central part of Yangon. Hlaing Township
Hlaing Township ( my, လှိုင် မြို့နယ်, ), also spelt Hline, is an area of Yangon, Myanmar in the West Yangon District of Yangon Region. The township is entirely urban and comprises 16 wards. In 2000, the township's population was estimated to be about 125,000. Geography Hlaing Township is an urbanized township on mostly flat terrain on the east bank of the Hlaing River.
