West Park is a residential and commercial neighborhood located in Stowe Township, Pennsylvania, United States, and partially in the borough of McKees Rocks. The main business district of Stowe Township, Broadway, is located in the heart of West Park. Revitalization Starting in 1983, West Park's Yesteryear Shopping District on Broadway underwent a revitalization plan which included a facelift of the buildings, the addition of many new businesses, and a dedication ceremony, among other things. Stowe Township has recently partnered with the Allegheny Together organization to bring another revitalization effort to the Yesteryear Shopping District. Stowe Township is a township in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 6,362 at the 2010 census. It is located in the Sto-Rox School District, which serves both Stowe Township and the neighboring borough of McKees Rocks. All locations in Stowe Township have McKees Rocks addresses. Stowe Township has partnered with the Allegheny Together organization to revitalize its main business district on Broadway Avenue. The area is served by Port Authority bus routes 21, 22, and 24. McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania
McKees Rocks, also known as "The Rocks", is a borough in Allegheny County in western Pennsylvania, along the south bank of the Ohio River. The population was 5,920 at the time of the 2020 census. It is part of the Pittsburgh metropolitan area. In the past, the city was known for its extensive iron and steel interests. There were large railroad machine shops, and manufacturers of locomotives, freight and passenger cars. Other factories in the city manufactured springs, enamel ware, lumber, wall materials, plaster, nuts and bolts, malleable castings, chains and forgings, tin ware, concrete, and cigars.
