''West Koasta Nostra'' is the seventh album by Samoan-American hip hop group Boo-Yaa T.R.I.B.E. It was released in 2003 via Sarinjay Entertainment, the record marked the first successful album for the group since its debut album, '' New Funky Nation''. The album managed to make it to #85 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and #42 on the Independent Albums. The album featured two hit singles, "Bang On" featuring Mack 10 and "911" featuring Eminem and B-Real. Other guests include Kurupt, Knoc-Turn'al, WC, Mr. Short Khop, Crooked I and Kokane. B-Real and Sen Dog made a cameo appearance on the album's single "Bang On". Ricardo Emmanuel Brown (born November 23, 1972), better known by his stage name Kurupt, is an American rapper and record producer who aided gangsta rap's rise via 1990s verses helping set lasting trends. He is one half of the rap duo Tha Dogg Pound, along with Daz Dillinger. His first solo album arrived in 1998. After feuding, the duo reunited in 2005. Kevin Gilliam (born April 20, 1968), better known by his stage name Battlecat, is an American hip hop record producer and DJ from South Los Angeles, California. Biography He started out as a battle DJ, notably competing in the 1988 New Music Seminar DJ Battle for World Supremacy and the 1990 DMC US Mixing Finals, both in NYC. He is well known for producing artists such as Snoop Dogg, Tupac Shakur, The Game, Xzibit and Tha Eastsidaz along with a number of other West Coast rappers. Senen Reyes (born November 22, 1965), also known by his stage name Sen Dog, is a Cuban-American rapper and musician who is best known as a member of the rap group Cypress Hill and as the lead vocalist for the heavy metal band Powerflo.
