West Attica
West Attica ( el, Δυτική Αττική) is one of the regional units of Greece. It is part of the region of Attica. The regional unit covers the western part of the agglomeration of Athens, and the area to its west. Administration The regional unit West Attica is subdivided into 5 municipalities. These are (number as in the map in the infobox): * Aspropyrgos (2) * Elefsina (1) * Fyli (5) * Mandra-Eidyllia (3) * Megara (4) With respect to parliamentary elections West Attica belongs to the electoral district of Attica. Prefecture As a part of the 2011 Kallikratis government reform, the regional unit West Attica was created out of the former prefecture West Attica ( el, νομαρχία Δυτικής Αττικής). Attica (constituency)
Attica ( el, εκλογική περιφέρεια Αττικής), formerly Remainder of Attica (Υπόλοιπο Αττικής), was an electoral district in the Attica region represented in the Hellenic Parliament. It consisted of East Attica and West Attica and covered all of Attica except for the urban area of Athens (Greater Athens and Greater Piraeus), which were covered by the constituencies of Athens A, Athens B, Piraeus A and Piraeus B. It elected fifteen Members of Parliament (MPs). It was abolished in December 2018 and replaced by East Attica and West Attica. Megarida

Provinces Of Greece
The provinces of Greece ( el, επαρχία, " eparchy") were sub-divisions of some the country's prefectures. From 1887, the provinces were abolished as actual administrative units, but were retained for some state services, especially financial and educational services, as well as for electoral purposes. Before the Second World War, there were 139 provinces, and after the war, with the addition of the Dodecanese Islands, their number grew to 147. According to the Article 7 of the Code of Prefectural Self-Government (Presidential Decree 30/1996), the provinces constituted a "particular administrative district" within the wider "administrative district" of the prefectures. The provinces were finally abolished after the 2006 local elections, in line with Law 2539/1997, as part of the wide-ranging administrative reform known as the " Kapodistrias Project", and replaced by enlarged municipalities (''demoi''). Nea Peramos
Nea Peramos ( el, Νέα Πέραμος), before the 1990s ''Megalo Pefko'' ( el, Μεγάλο Πεύκο), is a suburb and a former municipality in West Attica, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform, it is part of the municipality Megara, of which it is a municipal unit. Geography Nea Peramos is situated in the eastern part of the Megaris plain, on the Saronic Gulf coast, opposite the island of Salamis. Nea Peramos is 7 km east of Megara, 11 km west of Eleusis. The town was developed across the sea shore and included the seashore summer resort of Loutropyrgos, once the boundary between the ancient rival city states of Athens and Megara. Motorway 8 (Piraeus - Corinth) passes north of the town. The Nea Peramos railway station is served by Proastiakos commuter trains to Kiato. Vilia ( el, Βίλια; formerly Eidyllia, Ειδυλλία) is a village and a former municipality of West Attica, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Mandra-Eidyllia, of which it is a municipal unit. Its population was 1,753 at the 2011 census. Oinoi
Oinoi ( el, Οινόη) is a village and a former community in the northern part of West Attica, Greece. The village was named Mazi ( el, Μάζι) until 1919. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Mandra-Eidyllia, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 14.431 km2. The ancient site ''Oenoe'' is located about 3 km east of the modern settlement of Oinoi. Oinoi is surrounded by forested mountains, including Pateras () and Pastra (). Erythres
Erythres ( el, Ερυθρές, formerly known as Kriekouki, Greek: Κριεκούκι) is a village and a former municipality in the northernmost part of West Attica, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Mandra-Eidyllia, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 61.145 km2. Mandra
Mandra ( el, Μάνδρα), is a town and former municipality in West Attica, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Mandra-Eidyllia, of which it is the seat and a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 205.770 km2. The population of the municipal unit was 12,888 at the 2011 census. Zefyri
Zefyri ( el, Ζεφύρι) is a suburb of Athens and former municipality in West Attica, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Fyli, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 1.400 km2. Zefyri is situated near the northeastern end of the Aigaleo mountains.
