Wesley Momo Johnson
Wesley Momo Johnson (27 May 19449 July 2021) was a Liberian politician. He served as Vice-Chairman of the National Transitional Government of Liberia (NTGL) from 14 October 2003 to 16 January 2006. He was previously the Liberian Ambassador to the United Kingdom and Egypt. He was also the Liberian Ambassador to the Holy see. He studied in Monrovia College and also earned a degree in accountancy from St Francis College and an MBA from Long Island University. Before entering politics, he was an athlete and he represented Liberia in the 100m and 200m sprints at the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Liberia (), officially the Republic of Liberia, is a country on the West African coast. Joseph Nyumah Boakai (born 30 November 1944) is a Liberian politician who served as the 29th vice president of Liberia from 2006 to 2018, serving under President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf. Previously, he served as Minister of Agriculture from 1983 to 1985. Personal life Joseph Boakai was born in the remote village of Worsonga in Foya District, Lofa County, on 30 November 1944. He is married to Kartumu Boakai and they have four children. Boakai is a Baptist and a deacon of the Effort Baptist Church. Active in philanthropic efforts, Boakai supervised and personally financed a 7-mile rural village road construction near Warsonga, Liberia. Moses Zeh Blah (18 April 1947 – 1 April 2013) was a Liberian politician. He served as the 28th vice president of Liberia under President Charles Taylor and became the 23rd president of Liberia on 11 August 2003, following Taylor's resignation. He served as President for two months, until 14 October 2003, when a United Nations-backed transitional government, headed by Gyude Bryant, was sworn in as Chairman of the Transitional Government of Liberia. Career Blah was born in Toweh Town, Liberia, a Gio-speaking hamlet in north-eastern Nimba County, close to the border with the Ivory Coast. He joined with Taylor because of a shared hatred of President Samuel Doe, who had killed Blah's wife along with hundreds of others in an ethnic-related massacre.
